How is Duran no atg? He's argueably top 5 ATG.Top 10 certainly.
fought from 118 - 175
Won titles at LW, WW, LMW, MW.
the guy won over 100 fights in the modern era and was still fighting @ 50, shit he fought for a title @47!
robinson was good in his time,if he were fighting today he would not last one round with a top 20 contender:boxing:Why do you say that? he would have modern training and nutrition same as all the present fighters but with the same superior skills he had back in the day.
Given the state of the three weigth classes he competed at i think he could easily be the Ring champ at 147, 160 and 175 probably simultaniously, he would have to be an old SSM, a shit pavlik and and unproven Dawson.
Prime SRR would KO all three at this point in time.
What kind of stupid ass would choose pacquiao?
I can only assume they are joking.
Or they are retarded.
SRR is the greatest of all time, shit his first 70 fights are better than anyone elses resume. when you consider his first loss was to a HOF'er that was a stone heavier and he went on to beat him 3 times afterwards.
Stopped once in 200 fights and that was heat exhaustion not his opponent.
Where are you guys getting all this footage of Robinson to consider him the best without a doubt? Im being serious, Ive only only been able to find limited amounts of footage of Robinson and I agree hes great but Ive seen nowhere near enough for me to say without a doubt. If somebody can provide me with some info it would be appreciated, I wont vote until Ive seen more of Robinson.
Agreeeed. I'm not denying that he might be the best, but I've only seen a handful of his fights... so there's no way I can say he's the greatest of all time when I've only seen a limited amount of footage on him.
With that being said, I have to go with Duran...but that's just my personal opinion.
robinson no question
id like too hear an argument against why he isnt though
I rate Robinson #1 also, but have seen and could make arguments for both Armstrong and Greb.
