Cuz WW has no ring champ atm, so the #1 ranking is just like a belt in this case. Clottey beats him, Clottey gets it. Exactly. This si the way ranking work. When Cotto got by Shane, Shane was ranked 3, Clottey was also ranked 3, and then Cotto lost to the number 4 guy in Margarito. Shane fought the number one guy and took the spot with a vengeance.

and how do you know? Because there is someone named Cotto that holds wins over both Mosley and Clottey. You got to be one dumb ass to think the Ring would make this a Ring Belt fight.
