1 JMM is too small
2 Mr boat buyer is too fast
3 JMM can hurt Mr boat buyer (will he?)
4 rib injury is bullshit
5 JMM is still at the elite level (did Diaz war take sumthin outta him?)
6 Mr boat buyer will be just fine
7 JMM is hungrier
8 JMM better corner (Mr boat buyer's is good, but mostly cheerlead)
9 Mr boat buyer better boxer
10 Win is huge for JMM if he gets it. Win proves jack shit if Mr boat buyer gets it.
1. JMM too small? If Floyd was a big WW, I would say yes. But Floyd is small for WW, so while Floyd is naturally bigger, JMM can overcome it IMO.
2. FM too fast? JMM has fought Pacquiao, he has dealt with fast hands before.
3. Can JMM hurt FM? Depends if he can carry his power up with him and if he can hit Floyd.
4. Rib injury a factor? If it was legitimate maybe it is. JMM has said he'll work the body so we'll find out.
5. JMM getting old? He is obviously past his prime, but not by much. His technical style has save him a lot of abuse.
6. Will FM be rusty? I think so. No matter how much you box, a year and half away from the ring will have some rust.
7. Who's hungrier? JMM drank his own piss! But seriously I think both are pretty hungry to prove themselves and answer the doubter's questions.
8. Better corner? I'm gonna go with JMM's because of all the drama in Floyd's, but Floyd's corner is great too.
9. Better boxer? Both are great boxers, but Floyd is so athletically gifted, he doesn't always have to be the perfect boxer. He can make small mistakes and still correct. JMM does get hit though, more than Mayweather. I say even.
10. Win means what? For JMM, one of the greatest in Mexcan boxing history. For Floyd, he did what he was supposed to do. Maybe unfair, but that's how it will be portrayed.
My answers for #1, #2, and #10 would be:
No. JMM is only 1 inch shorter than Floyd. At the weigh-in they'll be near the same weight. The critical factor will be how comfortable Juan will feel on fight night.
To fight comfortably at 144, and since He called out Floyd, Marquez should be smart enough to realize that he needed sufficient time walk around and plenty of exercise at the higher weight to negate any deficiencies in his skills.
Yes. Floyd is too fast.
A win for Marquez means a huge door swinging open with a monumental victory to his name, and a much bigger payday ahead.
For Floyd, a win will mean another victory added to his legacy and another huge payday fighting the winner of Cotto-Pacquiao.
All other questions are up for speculation until the end of the fight.
1. JMM too small?
I don't think size will be a determining factor in this match-up though it's obviously a small issue
2. FM too fast?
No I don't think Mayweather's speed will be the determining factor either - there are many attributes of his that I rate higher
3. Can JMM hurt FM?
Anyone can hurt anyone but I highly doubt Marquez will hurt Mayweather. At least not to the head. His body work may take it's toll on Floyd
4. Rib injury a factor?
Doubtful
5. JMM getting old?
This may be a bigger factor than size if Marquez doesn't perform to his usual standard
6. Will FM be rusty?
I think this is pretty likely, and it may take Floyd a few rounds to get into it
7. Who's hungrier?
Marquez has a fire burning inside of him but Mayweather is also desperate to silence his critics and regain his position right at the very top of the sport
8. Better corner?
Personally I'd go with Marquez's
9. Better boxer?
Everything up until this point in both men's careers leads me to believe Mayweather is. I don't think there is a better boxer than him in the game, and this is why he'll triumph
10. Win means what?
Floyd win: a nice name on his resume and a stepping stone towards a handful of potential mega-fights
Marquez win: highlight of his career and a huge boost to his all time standing; will also be in a great position for the rubber-match with Manny
My reasoning:
1. JMM too small? Might be, but skills, talent, and greatness can transcend weight.
2. FM too fast? If JMM fought and was able to effectively counter with a just as fast Pacquiao, the speed won't be as big a factor against Floyd.
3. Can JMM hurt FM? Yes
4. Rib injury a factor? No, but it'll be tested, whether it is or isn't.
5. JMM getting old? Maybe, but he hasn't shown many signs of it. He averaged 80+ punches against Juan Diaz, the highest of his career.
6. Will FM be rusty? Yes
7. Who's hungrier? Toss up, but if I was pushed for an answer, I'd lean to JMM. Like I've been saying all along, Floyd's hunger will be tested. JMM is a different animal from what he's been facing, he doesn't fade like the last few opponents Floyd's fought combined with Floyd's ring rust? What do you think?
8. Better corner? JMM and Nacho.
9. Better boxer? Toss up. Floyd's extra speed gives him the edge in this area though.
10. Win means what? Another million dollar payday against the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto.

Ten crucial questions for Mayweather-Marquez - Doug Fischer
Fischer gives good reasoning to every question.
1. JMM too small? Answer: I think so because it’s obviously not his weight class.
2. FM too fast? Answer: Absolutely, though I think JMM can deal with it even at this weight
3. Can JMM hurt FM? Answer: Anybody can get hurt by anyone which makes boxing so great
4. Rib injury a factor? Answer: I still question it due to rumors of lack of buzz/sales from even casual fans
5. JMM getting old? Answer: He is as we all are though I don’t think father time will be a factor in this fight.
6. Will FM be rusty? Answer: Of course, he’s coming off a 18 month hiatus I don’t care how much sparing/training you put in you will have some ring rust
7. Who's hungrier? Answer: that is a pickem’s discussion they both seem content and hungry for whatever is next.
8. Better corner? Answer: Again, as pickem’s response Nacho is one of Mexico’s greatest trainers and Roger/Floyd sr both molded Floyd to what he is today.
9. Better boxer? Answer: Floyd.
10. Win means what? Answer: Win for Floyd means an inevitable argument for who’s pound for pound best by facing Pacman while the same remains for JMM in a rubber match.
Peace.
