Who beat Clottey more convincingly?

Margarito but Clottey injured both his hands in the fight.

You know people are biased when they say things like "Margarito beat his ass." Marg never hurt or dropped Clottey. Clottey won that fight. Marg landed nothing and Clottey was giving him the business with hooks and combos. He looked stupid and couldn't adapt. Marg only won rounds because of Clottey's inactivity

A couple of weeks ago I made a thread that is identical to this one to start some shit up. Margarito beat Clottey a hell of a lot more convincingly than Cotto did. Cotto looked like a tomato can compared to the way that Margarito beat Clottey. The hand injury excuse is weak because Clottey is a cry baby to begin with. Cotto slammed Clottey to the canvass and hurt his knee and Clottey still chased Cotto like he was a terrified squirrel. I don't even like Margarito and I've got his back where this is concerned.

Cotto didn't beat Clottey in my opinion, Margarito did. Then again, Margarito was lucky that Clottey messed up his hand.

To answer the question though, I chose Margarito. I still think Clottey beat Cotto.

Well Margarito didn't even land one good punch the entire fight. He only one because he outworked Clottey after Clottey hurt both hands. the first four rounds Clottey completely dominated him. 100% not true. Well maybe more like 95% not true. Clottey did handle Margo the first four rounds. Then he hurt is right hand (one hand, bruised knuckle). You already know that though. Please stop with the lies just cause you hate Margarito. By the way, Margarito also had a couple of injuries in that fight. So it was a level playing field.

margo closed the fight w/ clottey strong. cotto barely survived. Cotto was running from the seventh round on. He did the same in the Margarito fight. And he ran from Shane in final quarter of their fight. And not once did he ever hurt those three fighters. Tells me Cotto is not the "beast" that some make him out to be...

proof that margo used plaster against cotto???? Or proof that the only one's complaining are Puerto Ricans(Cintron and Cotto). Even Sergio Martinez says that Margarito just whipped his ass and no plaster was used!

Marg didn't fight with a cut like Cotto had and if Clottey really hurt his hands, it adds other factors to the fights. But Marg beat him much more convicingly, Cotto had a much closer fight.

The answer is Margarito, but Cotto hasn't been the same fighter since he was platerized. Clottey was more determine than ever to win a title while he wasn't 100% against Margarito because he was fighting with a bad hand that he ended up breaking during the fight, if it wasn't already broken. So Clottey was really one handed. Cotto was unfortunate from a bad cut result from a headbutt and maybe his incident with his former trainer, because you could tell he already had that cut before.
