Now, before any Pacquiao fanatics get in here, here's my disclaimer. I'm not saying that he'll kill Pac horribly, I'm just saying he would be competitive. I mentioned his name before and everyone acted like I should shoot myself for even thinking he belonged in the same sport as Pac...
But I was thinking. Bradley typically presses the fight and has a high workrate. He's not a devastating puncher, but his body work accumulates. However, he broke his usual attack-mode and started to box a little bit against Campbell. He started to circle and use his jab effectively. And everyone's saying that Cotto has to be able to jab to keep Pac at bay. I could see a similar strategy for Bradley imo...
Bradley would school Pacman. Bradley's too fast, too strong and way too smart for one dimensional Pacman
Name me a Top AA fighter Pacman has beaten?
What version of Pac have you been watching? The jab-jab-straight left fighter has evolved into a puncher/boxer.
What the eff has that gotto do with anything? Name me a ice cream flavor that Baskin Robbins doesn't have.
I ain't no Pac Hugger...but c'mon...what "Top AA Fighter" was available for Pac to fight while everyone else was busy fighting each other? DLH fight which was a huge win/win situation for Pac.....or campaign at 135/140lbs and unify? He can still do the latter....but mega fights are the only thing Pacquiao...I mean his legal advisors want. :davil2:
I guess there's no way to sway someone either way or the other. I have a hard time saying that Pac having one fight @ 140 makes him the best.
Is Bradley a better defensive fighter / counter puncher than Marquez? That should answer your question. If yes...than sure Bradley would get a SD Loss to Pac (joke)...if no...well you know the rest.
What the hell are you talking about? Don't you see what Pac did to the former best 140 Hatton?
Bradley was down and hurt by an feather fisted Holt. I can't imagine Pac do to him.
Feather fisted Holt?
I see your another Pac fan boy.
Bradley would school Pacman. Bradley's too fast, too strong and way too smart for one dimensional Pacman

I still can't see how race matters... why?

tell me another one
Dam Pull....you really have changed....glad to see that you speak the truth and call 'em how you see 'em....

no... I think its pretty much consensus that pac is the jr WW champ and timmy is his #1 contender at 140.
Dam Pull....you really have changed....glad to see that you speak the truth and call 'em how you see 'em....
lol..I take it you're a Pac fan.
LOL, no i'm not a pac fan. i don't jump on bandwagons like that. i just speak what i see. bradly is good though, but the man at 140? nope
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. He isn't Malignaggi, he punches harder. If Bradley sits down on his punches he could do pretty good damage. I don't think Hatton is a "beast" at any weight, not even 140. He was nothing but hype, fought a bunch of "over the hill" fighters, same thing Pac has done at this point. I'm not saying that Pac is a bum or anything like that, just unproven @ 140. He beat a shot Oscar De La Hoya ,who had to kill himself to get to 147, and Hatton who just downed a 6-pack before the fight. I can't see Bradley being absolutely dominated by Pac. I guess we'll agree to disagree.
:beerchug:
Was that truly necessary? So Pac got KOd when he was 19 yrs old. Bradley doesn't have the power to hurt Paquiao...need proof....Bradley is 24-0 with 11KOs.....I love Bradley...and a couple months ago...did a thread on how Pac should've taken a "stay busy" fight against Bradley to gauge how he would do against a "young, hungry, in his prime slick fighter".....to setup a Mayweather fight...but Pac chose to fight Cotto. I was knocked for even thinking a fight with Bradley was stupid for 2 reasons.....Bradley would get KTFO and Bradley brings nuthing to the table as far as name, draw, and quality of opposition. Yet after his fight with Nate Campbell....now he is in the same league as Pac? C'mon....GTFOH with that...FACT: Pac KOd the Lineal 140 lb king. FACT: Hatton is still a BEAST at 140 lbs....with only Pacquiao clearly beating him and MAYBE Bradley giving him fits....but Hatton would either KO him late or get a UD.
TS keeps asking for evidence as far as Pac beign able to dominate Bradley....FACT: Made Zombie quit on his stool....I highly doubt Bradley could've accomplished that...much less make DLHs face all swollen. FACT: Pacquiao KOd Hatton in 2 rounds, knocked him down a total of 3 times....all were flush shots that rocked Hatton....as he admitted in a later interview "I never recovered after the 1st KD". FACT: Pacquiao has KOd a fighter in each of the weight divisions he has been in.
Where are the facts to support Bradley is the man at 140lbs? Fact: being #1 contender is not being the man...that makes you #2. Fact: Bradley is like a "african-american version of Paulie Malinaggi"...excellent skills...but not enough power to do any damage against the elite. His KO ratio prooves that.
Don't get me wrong...I think Bradley is worthy of top 10 p4p status...I would put him at #10....but he needs to get in there with Amir Khan or Victor Ortiz to prove he deserves a shot at Pacquiao in order to legitimize his status as top 140lber.

agreed. personally I think the fight is a "pick 'em"
I actually believe Peterson has more experience than Bradley. And yes I count amateur experience into that equation. The one experience factor I think Bradley has over Peterson is being stung in a big fight, regrouping and continuing. I applaud him for that but it won't come into play because he doesn't hit hard enough to sting Peterson.
bradley is a champion with two belts.....maidana did'nt ko ortiz ,he quit.....bradley will hit him just as much maybe more ,he'd quit again..
Still comparing Bradley's punching power compared to Maidana LOL!! Boy you know nothing about boxing!
Of course he could. Bradley has a solid chin. A great left hook and he got up. He has not been KO'd yet, unlike Pacman

of course that's certainly a possibility
but do you think Peterson is experienced enough to get by Bradley?
it's a pretty big step up in class for Lamont.
agreed. personally I think the fight is a "pick 'em"
