How can they allow this man to continue after Round 8?

He was still fighting back hard. If he was just getting hit and battered, I understand stopping it. But he had his hands up and was punching back.

Vargas was still in the fight. His eye looked like shit but SSM never hurt him in that fight. Even at the point of stoppage he just landed a peppering flurry. He wasn't doin bad enuf damage to halt the fight imo. As long as the fighter is fightin back and has a chance to win, refs should let em go. I had this fight hands down to Mosely, No way Fernando was gonna beat him with one eye. I give props to Vargas for going out there because he always showed wicked heart but his team shoulda stopped the fight at the end of round 8 or atleast round 9. He coulda been seriously hurt, mosley aint no feather handed fighter.

He wasn't gettijg battered. But I have to say contrary to the judges and most probably I didn't see the fight that close.I only gave Fernando 2 rounds in the 9 they fought.Altough they were competitive Shane flurried at the end and stole many.
