I would have to Say HBO just by a small amount, but they aren't as good as they used to be. That GBP deal hasn't done them any favors imo.
But I like Al Bernstien on Showtime, he's very knowledgeable and he doesn't sound like he's trying to sell you a used car like Kellerman does or sound like he has been smoking way too pot like Lennox. I would go with Showtime over BAD for sure. But HBO world Championship Boxing is better that Showtime.
HBO has bigger names but if you want to see great fights its Showtime. To me Showtime does more for the hardcore fans. Big props to them for what they do on their small budget(compared to HBO).
I agree with this.
I almost always see a good fight when i watch Showtime but i cant always say the same for HBO.
they should've tried to get NBC and/or ABC to show the fights..that would do WONDERS for Boxing..
I wish that would happen. Then I could watch it in high definition for free.
im gonna say showtime - imo the super 6 is a ground breaking tourney and bigger than anything that HBO have made
alot of stock is put into HBO dates and they have become part of the political scene in boxing and sometimes they are more trouble than they are worth.
Very well said, hookey
I forgot about this, Showtime deserves big credit for getting every top name at 168 in a tournament.

HBO has the Pacquiaos, Mayweathers, Cottos, and Mosleys of the sport, so they have the bigger fights. Showtime showed the Vazquez-Marquez trilogy, Vic Darchinyan fights, and now the Super Six. They are both doing good things for the sport.
