This guy is trying to say they are "the exact same size":

Before I continue quoting Roach, I just want to say this: Miguel Cotto is not a big 147-pounder. Miguel Cotto is actually quite small at 147 pounds. Cotto and Pacquiao are basically the exact same size.
Is he an idiot? Why does google news search consider his writing newsworthy?

Cotto is really bigger on fight night, a natural super-welterweight.
They're pretty close to the same height. But Cotto has wider shoulders and is naturally bigger than Pac. When they weigh in they will look similar. But fight night, Cotto will have the size advantage.
.....what he said
Do you guys remember Cotto-Judah? Cotto looked like he had a weight division on the guy. He is a very stocky WW and it will show on fight night. It's his defense and stamina that will be in question.
Floyd and Pac weigh the same at WW.
yup. floyd and pac weigh around the same on fight night (148-150). well, at least floyd did before retiring.
but cotto is heavier than both on fight night (160).
