Kelly Pavlk has medical OK for Dec. 5 Atlantic City brawl against Williams

One mega fight is good to go according to Kelly Palik promoter Bob Arum. Arum, the Top Rank Top Honcho, told Examiner.com and ******************.com that there is no reason fior HBO for not to proceed with a Super Fight between “Ghost” Pavlik and Paul “The Punisher” Williams on Dec. 5 in Atlantic City. “Pavlik has been completely medically cleared by the Cleveland Clinic in terms of the staph infection he had on his left hand,” Arum told me late Wednesday night. “Forget about what local doctors in Youngstown, Ohip, told Kelly. Forget about all that because these are top doctors, real specialists in their fields. I found amusing that some of them actually attended Kelly’s fight last February against Marco Antonio Rubio in Youngstown so it’s not like Kelly as a patient was somebody they did not know.” In other news, Arum informed me:\ --Only a few hundred ringside tickets remain available for Cotto-Pacman mega fight Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand in Las V egas. --He is not sure yet where Megamanny will begin training. --He knows that his sidekick, Cameron Dunkin, is the new manager of WBO junior welterweight champion Tim Bradley but says that his charge, Lamont Peterson, has a WBO mandated title bout to come against Bradley.
