No fighter wants to retire with a L on there record, but this fight would be real good for hatton. Lets be honest, Juan diaz isn't exactly a "paper champ" hes a well respected boxer around the world, despite the horrondous judging from the last fight, hes still a good boxer. This is a fight I believe Hatton would dominate, hes got the power and the speed to really really hurt Diaz, and Diaz hasn't got a lot of power to hurt hatton.
nah after floyd beat him, hatton started doubting his trainer, his dieting, his style, everything.... as calzaghe says "if it aint broke don't fix it", its not like he was any worst before he fought mayweather. pacquiao probably just traumitised him.

diaz is a decent tune up for hatton, but hatton has said that he wants jmm
I like Hatton vs. DAVID Diaz or JULIO Diaz better...
I think Juan's still a little more difficult of an opponent for Hitman to fight next. He needs a couple smaller opponents or B- and C-level before another "big" fight...Juan's still a top ten fighter at 140.
Agreed. I cant see Hatton going out on a brutal loss like that. Diaz is defiantly a good fight for Hatton, it's possible & i think it's possible this fight will be made!
