Williams will wait for Hopkins, but not Pavlik?

False, my man. Saying Pavlik pulled out of the October 3 date is true, but thats only half the story. He wanted to postpone it til late November. Williams is the one who pulled out completely because he said he wanted to fight before November. Nothing I just said is disputed by anyone. Wrong. He wants to put Paul Williams on hold while he tries to figure out when he can fight again. This November date is bogus considering Goosen is promoting Berto-Kessler on NOV 21st. That would never happen. There is no definitive date when Pavlik will be ready to fight and missing 3 Doctors appointments indicates he is in no hurry for this fight. You putting the fight not coming off on Williams is a joke. You can't seriously expect Paul Williams to wait around for Pavlik to get his shit together.

I think he could beat anyone at 154, and pretty much anyone at ww-middlewieght also I used to think his chin would fail him at 160 against AA or Pavlik. But AA is gone, and Pavlik won't fight him. Sturm is winnable if he could get that fight, but it ain't too appealin. If he could comfortably make 147 and get SSM and Cotto to face him, Pwill could beat those guys too. But I don't see that happenin. JMW is his place. Either Sergio to start off would do just fine and get him a belt.

There is no guarantee that Pavlik will be ready by November considering no Doctor reports have come out. I'm not disputing this. But if the reason that the Williams camp pulls out of the fight is that Kelly Pavlik is too unreliable, than just say that. Don't say "We want to fight in October, and don't have time to wait" and then say you're open to fighting a 45 year old man who will take minimum 3 months to get ready.

Honestly I don't think you can really point any fingers at Williams. They had a date, Kelly pulled out. He pulled out of his previous fight as well, plus all the rumors of kelly not being in shape, missing doctor appoints, etc. and all that shit adds up, makes him appear unstable. It's a gamble. I wanted this fight as bad as anyone else and wanted to see a good fight, but I can certainly see why Williams would choose not to wait/and or go another direction. I don't get it. If Williams reason for pulling out of the Pavlik fight is, as Goossen says, that he wants an October date, why is he willing to negociate a deal wit Hopkins, a guy who won't be ready AT LEAST until late November? Isn't that a little shady? Pavlik woulda been ready in late Nov. for a huge showdown and Paul cancelled, for the reason that he wants to stay active. But B-Hop will want a couple months at least. I can guarantee there's no way he will be ready come October. What's your excuse for that, Williams camp? Why can't you wait for a champ in Pavlik but you can wait for Hopkins?
