Hopkins VS Williams @ 170LB - Who Takes It?

I don't know....hopkins is the smarter fighter, but williams has the better talent at the moment. I can't count out bernard, but i think he loses a close decision to williams because of williams workrate. But if williams can't handle bernard shots and body shots and dirty tatics, then bernard wins! B-Hop is very capable of slowing down a fighters work rate, he did it against Calzaghe for 6 rounds, the problem here is that Hopkins will know that Williams can't hurt him and can't outbox him so he just might look as good as he did against Pavlik. bernard has alwasy struggled with fighters with fast hands and busy fighters so williams should win if he can handle the shots Although Williams does have the talent, he doesn't have the experience, Hopkins would hit him with the hardest shots he's ever been hit with from angles he won't see coming.

Bernard should stick to his own weight class for once.

I think Williams does better than Pavlik but Hopkins wins. I don't think Williams should be thinking about this fight. Especially when he can come in at 157 for a Middleweight fight, this is too much too soon. Williams should just be looking at the other titlists at LMW and MW as he's pretty much the best at either division.

hopkins takes it but not because he is a better fighter. ih had enugh of b-hop - his constant cherry picking of fighters is ruining the sport. b-hop seems to love taking on plodding, slow and easy to hit fighters like pavlik and has been linked to adamek anf froch. buts its nice to see thate he hasn't forgot his roots or traditions of picking on smaller guys and asking them to move up in weight i.e. winky and now willaims. hes made a career out of picking easy fights, doing this and has always backed away from big fights (RJJ rematch, toney, calzaghe in 02) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ anyways as for b-hop vs pwill im gonna say bhop. b-hop is the heavier, bigger man, he knows how to fight southpaws and someone like pwill is just too green when it comes to the nuances of the ring. but i really wish the guy would grow a pair man up and make the only fight worth wacthing at LHW right now (seriously i dont want chad because hes the future of american boxing......wtf is that about) either that or retire. p.s. RJJ ran from him from 96-01 when b-hop was unbeatable
