How is beating Cotto not a great win? Ricky Hatton was overrated, but he was still formidable at 140 and Pac knocked him out cold.
It will be a great win, not denying that.
The only thing I don't understand is if Pac wins, how you can claim Pacquiao reigned over 7 divisions? He fought once against a crappy titlist at 135 for a belt, once at 140 against an overrated Ricky Hatton, once against weight drained DLH and once against Cotto. Again this is if he wins.

Hard to argue he didn't clean out the 130 division considering he beat MAB again, Morales 2x, and JMM at that weight. All 3 of those guys were at one time or another rated the best or second beat at the weight. So I'd say beating the top 3 is cleaning out a division given today's standards.
This. :werd:

Yeaup only the Junior Lightweight Class.
Morales twice by knock-out.
Barrera by unanamious decsion. (Rematch.)
Also Juan Manuel Marquez.
No one else was left.
So he did clean it out.

To be fair Hatton was still the lineal champ at 140lbs when Pacquiao beat him
Cotto and De La Hoya at welterweight is a nice couple wins. Even nicer if he beats Mayweather at welter too
Nah, he didn't...but cleaning out a division isn't necessarily saying much these days. It's all about fighting the top fighters. Not every division has 5-6 top fighters that are marquee guys. Each division has its top 3 that are recognized by most, but saying you gotta clear out the 1-10 in each division is practically impossible.
What he said rly...plus if u wanna prove your in the top 20 ATG's (id say its possible pac can do it) you aint got time to clean out a division, but i think we all know if he wanted to...he could clean out 140 right now, and id say easily....so why not go up to WW...well 145 :D lol still WW
Edit- P.S YOUR SIG IS FUKING HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA

Guzman was the only other guy you could say he could have fought at 130 but he beat the top 3 that's indisputable. How many guys in any division right now can claim that they beat the top 3 in that weight. And let's be honest Guzman is skilled by no one was calling him the best at 130.
True. To be honest, Pacquiao should've fought at 135 well before JMM 2 and fought Casamayor, and asked JMM to go up. From what I've read, Pacquiao was struggling to make 130 for a long time probably since the Barrera 2 fight.
Poll coming.

So super featherweight?
That's a good nominee I guess.
Any others?
Yes, I think the bantamweight and featherweight divisions. The Super featherweight division is aruable with Sotto, Guzman, and the close win over Juan Manuel Marquez.
