I think if Cotto stops him there would no need for a 3rd fight given the public speculation of the 1st fight. I agree with Spray Resistant, it's a bad matchup, but taking into consideration of possible tampering with of margo's gloves, which i believe he did, if Cotto beats him, it might have to be a convincing win for Cotto. If it's too close, then i think more people would like to see a rubber match.

Well in the first fight Cotto was looking really good for the 1st 5rds. He was making Margarito miss alot and was catching him with nice combos, If you take away the plaster I think Cotto will win by decesion. And depending how close it is then there could be a rubber match, but if Cotto blows him out then..there is no need for a rematch.

Sorry, but if there's a rematch i think Margarito takes it as well, it's one of those matchup things, just as ig Margs gets a rematch with Mosley he's gona get owned again. That said, i'd love to see it happen and if there's a trilogy, count me in as well.

I got mixed feeling about a rematch. 1. I think Cotto should avenge his only very questionable loss, and kick cheato's ass all the way back to Mexico, and erase that loss. (only in the minds of fans, cuz the box commish will still state that Cotto had a loss,) but at least if he avenges it, WE know better. 2. i think cheto should be banned for life cuz of the simple fact he got CAUGHT trying to cheat, which leaves many wondering how many times might this have happened before? I don't think he deserves a payday in boxing. cotto should ingnore him and move on.
