it's a different time , fasthard. they fought so much back then that not everyone will have nice 30-0 records. how many guys that lennox and calzaghe fought had 60 wins or 80 wins or 100 wins? wilde fought those guys as well. also , you need to realize that they didn't keep records as good as they do now. boxrec had wilde at 130+ wins but they say he's had way more than that. That's why i can't rate Wilde higher than Lennox as far as my boxing knowledge is concern. Well i didn't even born when The Mighty Atom is still active... I can only says Lennox in his time is the king of Heavyweight and we know how hard to become the best HW at that time. Too many talents and only one has recognize as the best it's Lennox. But maybe it's Jimmy is the best it's hard to find boxer who has 100+ these days.

and how do you know how good the quality of his opponents was? lennox's opponents are more recent so of course people know/heard/remember them better. Lennox even knock your favorite coach of all time Phil Jackson. :fing02::rofl:

Jimmy Wilde. The taffy wins hands down. If you are on numbers you can have Wilde but the quality of fighters he face and accomplishment i think Lennox takes it by a mile.

Lennox Lewis is greatest british fighter of all time without a doubt and a million times far from the other fighter has been listed above. Second is Ricky Hatton cuz he fight the best the world has to offer in their prime and the quality of fighter he faced. Calzaghe then Hammed.

Lewis dominated a strong heavyweight era without any controversy. He is the best by far although he did have a great heavyweight physique.

Lewis, Calzaghe, Hamed, Hatton, Froch, Khan. Froch can do himself a world of good if he wins the tournament. Who knows what Khan will go on to do.
