What I really hate about boxing.

These guys need to fight MORE PERIOD. Angulo is the perfect example he had a Nov date reserved on HBO yet came out to fight 4 WAY less money on ESPN for more exposure and to stay active. This is what fighters need to do. Yeah, look at Hopkins who fought Pavlik like a decade ago and there's no dates mentioned to fight, much less an opponent, then they fight and when they get beaten everyone blames the inactivity, like Winky against Williams. Mosley should've fought this past summer already.

I hate that there's so many belts......1 per division would be cool!!.....and now they got the Pac belt......I mean WBC "Diamond" belt comin' soon makes me hate the belts even more!!!.....still LOVE the sport tho' :boxing:

September will be a pretty busy month

Look at this, Mosley and Berto ain't doing shit for now and they said they're talking but that nothing is going to be till 2010. Why? Why take so long to make damn fights? Same with Juanma, he said he's going to shut up Caballero in January of 2010. I know it takes time to get agreements, publicity, date and what channel is going to transmit it, but I really hate this part of boxing. I know they all train hard, put their lives in the line and risk it all in the ring. But this is ridiculous, Berto and Mosley can make it happen by October or even November. Calderon gonna make it for September and he just had a fight a month ago, what the ****? :poke: Hbo is broke. They overpaid floyd for floyd/jmm and cotto/pac broke the bank. That's why these fights aint happening in 09

There isn't enough money from the networks to satisfy both parties, it sucks but that's the way boxing is run now.

I agree with TS 100%, berto should be fighting mosley or giving collazo a rematch. either way berto looses. who else can fight now? santos is out there waiting, pwilliams is trying to get some thing going. but we are going to get a string of good matches until pac/cotto. I dont think i will have enuf money to watch them alll!!

Mosley Vs. Berto would be a nice match up. I think Mosley would KO him though.

Yeah bro, it's #1 hate reason in boxing for me. Then we get these huge drought months where theres no quality matchups or much of boxing at all. Meanwhile I feel like everytime I go to a bar, it's showing UFC >Insert # here< and everyone is all over it. People talk boxing is dead yet nobody seems to be doing much about it to get fights broadcasted. I hear telefuturo is coming back with their fights again. That's a good thing I guess even though the nonhispanic of the world probably don't give a damn.

Didn't they say that Mosley has Dec 5th already for HBO but it just won't be vs Berto..
