with all the quiting thats been going on latly it reminded me of carmine basilio in the rematch with Robinson when his eye was completly swelled up from the 6th roun on, but fought threw it, saying after the fight:
"dont worry about it, i got another eye"
he was a worrior, theres been manny fighters like him, who's your fav??

u have Bobby Chacon up there yet u had to share Erik Morales with that bitch/prick barrera in one category even though u had more spaces to begin with:rolleyes:
i kinda view them in the same light you know???
and chacon was in more wars then anyone on there, but not many new guys heard of him, but watch chacon Vs limon,
you'll see what i mean:)
Agreed, and Gomez vs Zarate as well.
Zarate being 51 and 0 with 50 KO's before facing Gomez.
yep, gomez was da shit!
Erik Morales and Arturo Gatti.
Currently it's Tomasz Adamek. Adamek is a tough mother****er. Between the Briggs fights and the back and forth affair with Cunningham he has earned the title "warrior".
adamek is very underrated, now he's fighting at HW, the guy is a beast!

Probably Gatti.
This is going to sound stupid, but what about Froch? Or is bleeding and severe swelling a requirement?
:lol1:
na D, he is a worrior, but he hasnt had AS MANY wars as the other guys in the poll, ya know what i mean?
never seen it... I will do that.
best fight ever, its Mex Vs PR, one of the greatest fights in history, pintor was no joke, he was a great fighter, but gomez was an ALL TIME great fightr
Gomez, with both eyes PUFFED up with swelling still kicking Lupe Pintor's ass and stopping him in the late rounds is what you call a blood and guts warrior, also against Sanchez he tried his best to win, but was just outboxed, even by getting up and still taking a beating he showed tremendous heart and courage.
Oh and i almost forgot, against Rocky Lockridge, he was also getting outboxed in the early rounds, and managed to win the last 4 rounds to get a Majority Decision, even after looking almost like Carmen Basilio on that picture.
My vote goes to Gomez.
how old was gomez when he fought salvador?

i dont think its a good idea for him to fight marquez again, or niether one will be able to talk ten years from now.
Well Israel has been out of action for awhile as you know and it was a well deserve rest. Vazquez will not be fighting Marquez this year. He is looking to come back in October... Novemeber.
