I say 4th round. Not saying cotto is going to KO pacman but Pacman has NEVER, EVER been hit with the liver punch that cotto will hit him. If you watch many of Pacman's fights you'll see him get tagged with shots that move him but no power behind the punches. Marquez rocked him silly in second fight but marquez did not follow up. Cotto has been hit by Margarito, Clottey, 2 big fighters, way bigger than any pacman opponent. I hope the odds against cotto go past 4-1, i need to win some money.
I love how you tell people not to nuthug YET this reply screams of you tugging on some testes. Dude, there is a difference from being a cotto fan like myself and acknowledging that pacman is good and pacman fans who support pacman but won't give cotto any credit. Even the cotto fans who don't give pacman his props are idiots.
I haven't seen Cotto doing near enough body shots of late infact it was one of the huge factors in the Margaritto fight he just didn't go to the body. But erm if he actually does vs Pacman it will be as soon as he lands one which round that is no one knows :) I actually think the level of competition and his weight at 146-147 PREVENTED HIM from going to body lately. I'm one who is glad he is at 145, i think he'll be more quicker and will love 145.
You mean Ricky"overrated/hyped" Hatton? Have you seen his resume? I think Pacman needs to keep that off his resume. I think JENNINGS would KO Hatton in less than 5rds.

I doubt Pac will take Cotto's body shots... I wonder how Cotto take the "Manila Ice" i heard it could take out an middle weight fighters that Hatton took in his last fight... Cotto has very good defense and way better jab than pacman. After seeing cotto take clottey's punches and mosley's punches and play with a fast fighter like Judah, i think cotto will be ok.:boxing:

Cotto is a good fighter and so is Pacman. They both have positives and negatives and will show it on 11/14/09. Pacman has been through some wars with lighter fighters and cotto has been in wars with welterweights. I hope it's a good fight that can lead to a rematch and maybe a 3rd fight. No matter what is said about cotto, he fights them all. He might not call fighters out, but he fights them. He should get credit for that.
you know what? i can talk all day how great pac and cotto is and how they will present trouble to each other. but still, i cant predict whos gonna win :lol1:Me too ! I like cotto based on the fighters he has faced but you never know.
EXACTLY, I think pacman is a very good, exciting fighter. I just have issues with many fans/media making it seem like he is invincible when he has shown signs of being hurt but fighters don't take advantage of it. Is cotto or pacman perfect? No, their records/fights show that they are not. Does pacman give cotto trouble? Yes, but i'm hoping that cotto's experience with very good fighters will help him. Heck, i may be 200% wrong. At least i say it.

Hatton is not a lightweight and you are way under rating him now that pacquiao walked through him - not even something that tszyu could do. Do you think hatton can beat margarito, mosley or clottey?
i have no problems with some predictions saying that cotto will win against pac. these 2 are my most favorite fighters so whoever wins, ill be happy :cool2: EXACTLY, I think pacman is a very good, exciting fighter. well i guess you are right as far as titles go,but if clottey wouldnt have surrender his title that would be another title for Cotto, plus like i said we all know that Collazo won that fight(hell hatton knew it thats why he went right back to jww) and he never defended the ww title so more titles yes you are right more accomplished as far as titles NAH
you can say the same about malignaggi, who gave up the IBF to fight hatton. that should have been a fight for the IBF title. the collazo fight was close, hatton won the first half of the fight, got 6 rounds on the board and dropped him in 12 seconds. so collazo needed to drop hatton just to get evens. no doubt he was kicking hattons arse towards the end, but he didnt do enough early on. and rather than defend titles, hatton challenged the p4p number 1 who was at a higher weight class. tho he did defend the IBF at the same time as winning the WBA light welterweight. cotto won his second WBO title against jennings. so like i said earlier on, hatton has accomplished more in terms of championships won.
you think zab beat floyd??????:wow:
OK, well it aint rocket science. hatton won the IBF lightwelterweight belt twice and the WBA light welterweight title. also the WBA welterweight title. cotto has won 3 titles. so does that explain it crystal for you?

As soon as Cotto lands anything on Manny...Manny will know what kind of night he's going to be in four...It's not 130 anymore.
Cosign. Pac owns til he gets hit in this fight. Could be soon, could be later on.
How can u say that hatton has accomplish more than Cotto as far as championships(please explain yourself)last i remember Hatton got his ass handed to him by Collazo(even that they gave it to Hatto) and then Floyd put his ass in the canvas face first

I hate to say it but Judah looked very good against floyd,i think floyd won but Judah looked very good in that fight
no its not 130lbs anymore, ur right! but all that says is pacman is going to be pretty much at his actual natural weight rather than boiling down. cant be a bad thing. and hatton has actually accomplished more than cotto up to date in terms of championships won. also hatton beat quite possibly the best 140lb fighter this planet has ever seen in tszyu. hatton was never the best in the world, but you dont win 4 world titles in 2 weight divisions if you are garbage.

I keep saying that. Pacman is a very good fighter who will always be known for what he did against featherweights and lightweights. If he beats cotto he'll be known for beating a top welterweight. I cannot put hatton/oscar in that category. Hatton is a lightweight and oscar was past his best and even stevie wonder could see that. Pacman will tag cotto with shots, we all know that. But it's going to take welterweight power to knock out cotto. Yes, pacman might knock him down but What evidence in past fights will give you the idea that pacman will knock out cotto when WELTERWEIGHTS have not done that. Barerra? Morales? Marquez? Did he knockout Marquez?Hatton is not a lightweight and you are way under rating him now that pacquiao walked through him - not even something that tszyu could do.
Bro this is not the 130 lbs. weight class. Pac will not bring the same power and he wont be able to hurt Cotto as easily as he has his other opponents. This is 145 lbs welterweight division where Cotto has been for quite a while. People didn't think Cotto could beat Mosely because of handspeed but he did. Same thing with Zab judah which in my opinion is a much faster boxer then Floyd fagweather (which by the way Judah won againgst Floyd). All in all, it should be a great fight because the punching power that everyone has seen from Pac will not be the same but his speed will still be there and Cotto will protect himself from that.you think zab beat floyd??????:wow:
