SSM was #4 behind Marg, Pwill, and Cotto at the time of his fight wit Marg I think. Pwill didn't have nothin to do wit it cuz it couldn't have been for the Ring belt anyway. What I meant to say was that Cotto vs Margarito wasn't for the ring belt because Williams had a win over Margz. Also when Cotto lost to Margarito I am sure they dropped him a notch on the list. It was. 1. Margarito. 2. Williams. 3. Mosley 4. Cotto. 5. Clottey

Last time it was P Will who held things up since he had a win over Margarito, but usually is a fighter is fighting schedualed for a fight they make it linear. Only reason the linear strap wasn't awarded during Cotto Margarito, and Mosley Margarito was because Paul was waiting around. We will see. I hope they make it for the linear strap though since Cotto Won't be able to fight until spring 2010. Yea, it is annoying. I'm pretty confident that the lineal title won't be on the line. BUT, I honestly feel like if Cotto beats Pac, he'll fight Mosley again before he fights Floyd. Arum is just gonna fukk up a fight with Floyd with any of his fighters. So hopefully we get WW sorted by next spring.

They won't do that, it would have made more sense to make Margo/Mosley, but that didn't make sense either. If P Will wasn't around they probably would have. But you are right. I don't think Clottey ever held the WBA welterweight belt, so I'm more inclined to assume that it's fake. He had the IBF belt and he said he promised to be a world champ again.... I really hope this is true.

Interestin. SSM was screamin bout Pac at 140 a few days ago. I wanna see what he got to say about this. If it's goin down, sweet. Berto woulda been easier for him, but I'd rather see Clottey get anotha title shot.
