Does anyone really like Carl Froch

What's not to like? He's a fans fighter for sure. He calls out the big names and continues to do so even after he's got a title. You gotta love that.

Say what you want, but he is not protecting himself that is for sure. how the f*ck did you come to that conclusion calzaghes best wins are hopkins, kessler and eubank. aside from that he dominated the top 10 an has wins over bika, lacy, brewer, mitchell and sheika. all of whom have held titles at some point with the exception of sheika who at the time was coming off from a win over g.johnson. now if froch does somehow manages to win this tourney he will have a good resume and maybe as good as calzaghes. kessler and AA would class as his best wins and other notable wins would be pascal, taylor (x2?) and ward. im not going to include direll as hes barely even cracked the top 10 SMW rankings. Yes, TS. A lot of people really like Carl Froch. Granted, I don't think anybody likes him quite so much as he likes himself, but he's a hell of a boxer (well... hell of a fighter, his 'boxing' abilities are somewhat in question) who is GOOD for boxing. I don't see a reasonable argument to suggest otherwise.

There's boxers whom can have the occasional arrogance, show boating, but it be clear its just that and not too over bearing. But he's like it ALL the time, because quite simply, he's progressively become an annoying big headed cock. Some interviews of him a couple of years ago he was no way near as cocky. So that's why I don't like him as well, its not like hes always been like it to this extent, he's steadily becoming more and more of an annoying impersonal dick. He's not getting quite the fan following or TV chasing in the UK for those reasons, he demanded too much money of the networks yet said he's not in it for the money. He thinks he's the draw in most fights when he's not. Along with the fact he's no way near as good as he and many now believe. I do find it funny also, how suddenly you become a very good boxer, just for being entertaining against better known opposition, but without showing massive signs of improvement or major amounts of skill. Taylor was winning and gassed. Froch is quite simply not winning this tournament and it'll be good to see his excuses after wards.

Dude talks too much, but he came up big in his title fights wit pascal and Taylor. Both were good fights and both he overcame some difficulty to win. I ain't exactly a big Froch fan, but I like watchin him fight.

I really enjoy watching his fights, they entetain me and thats all that maters.

He can come across as arrogant and I can totally understand why so many will want to see him knocked out. I've watched him for quite a few years and have warmed to his blatant over confidence. He does make for exciting fights, he is always in condition. I've also heard that he is good for making time for his fans and is obliging and helpful to up and comers in the gym. I do favour him to win this tornament too, but he wont find it easy.

I used to think he and Pascal were giant loudmouth tools, but since that time they have stepped up and have no issues testing themselves. I just don't think it's so cut and dry that Dirrell wins. Froch is experienced, probably just as hungry and knows how to turn up the heat. I could see Dirrell losing by one-punch KO.

I have no real opinion on him. He's a good fighter, but his personality is shit. If it wasn't for his fit bitch I would have a harder time tolerating him.
