Cotto AND Margarito not the same after beat down?

Any assessment of Cotto after the Clottey fight is worthless!!No welterweight is looking good against Clottey,none!!In that fight,he showed tremendous heart.if I were to use the fight as an assessment,I would conclude that he is still pretty good,because he fought 9 rounds with 1 eye,many other fighters would have quit!!

I give my props to margarito that night for winning the fight as i give my props to mosley for beating margarito and cotto for beating mosley. Cotto is a complete different fighter after taking a knee as a gesture of defeat to Margarito. The change is very obvious when he fought Clottey, he became very tentative in throwing punches and lost his killer instinct that usually dominate his opponent. That had nothing to do with a gash over his eye that required over 20 stitches right? We haven't had an opportunity to truly assess Cotto's psyche after the Tony fight. That cut threw a wrench into any assessment you would make from the Clottey fight.
