Have any of these 2 ever been tested?
I see no-names on both of their resumes. Both fairly unexperienced as pros (under 20 fights) and i'm not sure if they are ready for what's coming for them.
The closest thing i can see to a fair fight is Ward-Miranda, and i don't rate Miranda at all.
I watched fights from both fighters today and they definatley look like they are worthy to be in the tournament, but as for winning it, i don't see that happening.
So to the people saying that they will win, how can you be sure of this when they have never faced any top competition and are relatively unexperienced as pros?
Neither has been tested yet. They've shown skills in showcase fights, but that's it. i think they both lose the 1st rd fights that are comin up. I'll be rootin hard for ward tho. I'd like to see him win, just don't think he will.
Well, at the end of the day, this is the way to test them. Next to Andrade and Bute, who are to fight each other anyway, these are the guys to test them. The time to step up now makes sense. Total sense.
This is the EXACT way to find out if they CAN take a shot. If they CAN remain calm and move forward.
Ward, however, was hit quite solidly against a puncher in Miranda. He didn't really buckle, so I know his chin is ATLEAST solid.
But what i'm saying is, have they ever been seriously hurt?
Do they know what to do when they are hurt?
Can they deal with the full 12 rounds against world class competition?
Experience will be key in these fights. Sure they can beat on someone like Froch for half the fight due to speed and the likes, but when they start to tire in the last couple of rounds will they have enough left when the experienced fighters turn on the pressure.
Stuff like this is what leaves question marks over Dirrell and Ward's chances in this tournament for me.
true bro, i think they can take it, but we dont know.

i think everyone in the tourney has an equal chance
the andre's have alot of talent and niether is one dimensional,
guys like froch kinda are,
but its all a matter of oppinion.
