What has Kessler done to be so damn overrated?

Let me say this: His record shits on the other guys in this tournament and if his record is piss poor it must mean that the others compares unfavourably to hungarian journeymen. I normally think you make solid posts bringer so I give you a Mulligan on this one. Is it any surprise? We've always disagreed on Kessler. No biggie. If he wins the tournament ; I'll be impressed. Kessler's hardly a globe trotter. He went to Australia for Mundine but stays in one continent for the rest of his fights, namely Copenhagen.

Technically speaking, his skills are very solid and he does deserve some credit there. Resume wise, his record is piss poor. Dirrell and Ward. He's never been in with the likes of them. Kessler will need a lot more headmovement than he's shown in the past to beat them. I think you are either massively overrating those two or underrating Kessler. Particularly Dirrell. Kessler dominates the absolute shit out of him.

nah, and please americans think lennox lewis is an over-rated euro-bum who dont even belong in the top 100 as usual. even though real objective non-american boxing fans can clearly see Lennox Lewis is a top ten heavyweight of all time. He's overrated by some people and then there is some people who go out of their way to constantly slight him. I view Pascal as a more skilled boxer than Kessler though. And that is why I favor Froch to win the Supper Middleweight tourney.

He ain't overrated or underrated. He's a dude who got some skills but refuses to fight anybody past the Joe C fight, at least til this tourney. Whom did he refuse to fight after Calzaghe? Enlighten me.. Miranda was in works yes, don't remember why it didn't happen - but I reckon the two other fights Sartison and Haussler was mandatory for the WBA belt.. and the past inactive year has been due to promotor problems etc. It's not like he didn't try to get the big fights after, he was in USA to get Hopkins but he turned down 5 million, and no one else wanted him at that time, so I don't see what else he could do.
