What are the keys to victory for each fighter? Who do you favor in this fight.
1. Floyd has been inactive for two years and isnt getting younger.
2. Shane is about to be 38.
3. Ray Leonard went after Hagler and Ali against Frazier happened with both being out of the sport for 3 years.
4. Floyd Sr has already said that this would be the toughest fight for Floyd because Shane is a strong fight Physically and Mentally
mayweather would play defense and give to the body for the first 7...then throw pot shots and dismantle shane's face till the 12th round bell...shane will get tired with all that moving...but i think he could catch floyd with a few good or great shots...but this would most likely go 8 or 9 to 4 or 3 for floyd by decision...i just can't see shane trying to cut the ring off for 12 rounds straight...i've never seen mayweather tired...or i can't remember...i've seen shane there before...
i like Nazim, but was not impressed for his gameplan V Big truck and steve this weekend. Steve was not impressive at all, he looked tentative and forgot about his jab. Truck was open for the right hand but he wasn't pulling the trigger.
True.....Steve didnt look that sharp.......but as brother Nazim continues to grow on Steve we'll see improvements for sure.
yesterday Floyd had this.......but today, tomorrow and whenever it happens....Shane takes this!!......the dude in my avi is a genius and he'll have Shane ready......and for the cat who uses Cotto as an example of why Floyd would outbox Shane.......guess what?!?......the dude in my avi wasnt trainin' Shane when he fought Cotto.......there's about 3 trainers in the whole game who are difference makers......Brother Nazim is one of them!!

I agree that he could have beaten Cotto if he had the right gameplan. I think Nasim would have been a great trainer for him earlier in his career. I also believe that Dan Goosen was good for him in the second lose to Winky. Ill even go ass far as to saying if he had a better trainer, he could have beaten Forrest. Jack was confused and didn't know what to do in that fight to be honest. After that cut and headbutt, he panic worse than Shane.

Are you stupid? Can Mayweather beat Mosley? Sure, but easily?
LOL.
meh, seblantics
maybe i should have said beats him "comfortably" or "decisively" instead... and i stand by that
I think listing to Floyd Sr talk about Mosley on a boxing radio show last night. He said Mosley is old but he is always physicaly and mentally prepared to fight. Plus Roger saying that Mosley, Floyd, and Pac are the three best fighters now. Before the Margo fight he even said Mosley is a throwback. Then he want on to say that "when he loses, he always finds away to comeback. That's a sign of a great fighter". I think they know Mosley is a threat and even Pac. So it won't be easy at all and they would train there asses off in the gym. Plus Mosley would be doing the same.
Who would imagine after all these years gone by since there 130-135 lbs days. This fight is still on of the biggest to be made at the moment.
Molsey's age would play a bigger part than Floyd's inactivity
I think Mayweather outboxes him fairly easily and wins a nice UD

Mosley has enough speed to stop Floyd from avoiding him, the power to scare him, and the boxing skills to compete with the counter punching.
Mosley wins a decision, can't say KO because we really don't know what Mayweather's chin is like. Mosley would certainly be the one to test it.
Real talk, this is a very good way to put it!!Co sign!!
I think it's safe to say Mosley's age isn't playing a part in anything (especially a fight with Floyd). He's fought Margarito, Cotto, Mayorga in his last 3 fights a KO'd 2 guys and lost a close decision to one. He's not proven yet he can have the longevity like Bernard has, but you can't base Mosley's age on being a factor of him losing. If anything, it would be Floyd outputting Mosley with his Boxing, but in NO WAY is it an easy task.
Margarito fight aside I've definitely seen tell tale signs of his age catching up to him
Mosley in his prime maybe gives Mayweather a hell of a fight but in 2009/2010 i really don't see an outcome besides a Floyd victory

floyd would make shane look all of his 38 years..shane has issues with mobile fighters
i'd have to agree if fmj hit as hard as forrest or was much bigger like wright, but the matchup in speed is similar and shane would find floyd to the body and head a little more than anyone else he's fought
Floyd is my second favorite fighter behind Mosley. But the one thing I noticed about Floyd since his move up to 147 is that he throws onepunch at a time for the most part. He is still accurate as hell. But the combinations were not there like they were at 130-135, besides the Hatton fight towards the end.
I think Mosley is the only guy that has the ability to beat Floyd. I don't think he can, though.
Nah.....i think PW definitely gives mayweather more hell than anybody else at ww.
