he has some insane handspeed for 168, but he hasn't shown a consistent killer instinct. some defensive holes as well. i'm pulling for either him or Ward, but i honestly haven't begun to really break down this tourney yet

He walks this tourney. Hes the most talented by far. Most talented or more skilled ? More skilled fighter does not always win.

We are hyping Froch? Froch has proved himself, Dirrell hasn't. Until the fight has started Froch should be considered the favourite. But as you said, anything can happen. Dirrell has the talent, but without any fights to date with top opponents, talent is all he has. I'm not saying Dirrell has proved himself, on a worldclass level yet. But what I'm saying is that anything can happen if it's the Froch we've seen before who shows up. Froch is going to lose the second he meets a good defence. He'll lose too many rounds on having no defence himself.

i think hes underrated actually when it comes to the prospects..that dude has freakish hand speed and reflexes and hes very physically strong for his size..i favor him to beat froch

Froch is a major step up for him.

Untested so far. Goes into the fight with Froch, possesing talent, but no experience against top fighters. Three straight fights with world class opponents will either make him or break him. He wouldn't be able to come back with three straight losses on his record. And there is a reasonable chance that could happen.
