Well it does, doesn't it?
This is why very few people will write anything remotely sensible on this thread.. Everything in life is evaluated by percentages..
So I think it's fair to say, that around 75% of the posters on NSB are clueless hype mongers..
I've noted, that the 'Parrot' threads are the most popular.. A little bit like scrambling for marbles on the school playground..
Children find marbles fascinating, even though most of them are almost identical.. It's the same with a lot of the threads on NSB..
For example.. If someone posts a thread saying, Mayweather Sucks Dick, the chances are, it will get 90% more attention than a post that says Holyfield ATG? As if that isn't bad enough, within a couple of days, 3 more threads will be posted saying PBF Sucks, Gayweather's scared of Pac & Is PBF Gay? What ever way you look at it, this is a game for youngsters, not boxers or their fans.. I think all the hype mongers should be banned..
Before anyone says, Stay on Boxing History you old cunt, I'd like to point out, that if the sports history doesn't interest you then you have no right to discuss it's presence.. I've lost count of the times knowledgeable/detailed posts have been totally ignored, because juvenile posters are either too embarrassed to throw their hats into the ring, or are too busy trying to be an abusive Parrot, & simply won't allow themselves any room to learn about their chosen subject.. It's as if they're at school in a double maths lesson & can't wait for the bell to ring, so they can go scram for marbles again..
All I'm asking, is for some stability, for the hype to stop.. Is that too much to ask? I think it is.. Can anyone prove me wrong??
there are enough sensible posters on here for me to keep coming back-every single day, boxing scene is doing something right
As I'm not so familiar with you as some of the other posters, I took the liberty of observing your thread statistics.. The first thing that I noticed, is that you don't post on Boxing History.. I'm not suggesting that this means you don't know about the sport, but it does suggest that you could broaden your horizons a little..
However, Your posting with regard to current fighters is quite well informed, & you appear to be one of the sensible younger posters.. It would be good to see you sharpening your repertoire on Boxing History though.. I'll keep my eye out for you... MM
I’m here as well. Do not post much though, but that has to do with the thread subject and the pubescent posters on here, that meet any post or thread with some foolish comment, but as well with the fact, that one cannot make a statement or a simple post on here, without someone needs to bring in their own opinion about which boxer is greater then the one the earlier poster just mentioned. It might not be a childish or foolish comment, but it’s still ignorant to highjack almost every thread with comments about, which boxer you like more.
In fact I recon that if there’s a thread with like 6 pages in it, you’ll have maximum 10 posts out of 60 that are readable. The rest is just garbage, which makes it a pain to have to go through all 6 pages on a somewhat rather slow webpage.
I often think, that I would like to keep you guys informed about what’s going on in Denmark and as well what’s being said in the media regarding Mikkel Kessler boxing wise, but every time I think about it, I give up beforehand, because I do not care to see my post and the time spend writing it being the subject of a lot of fools telling me how overrated he is and how little good boxers he’s beaten.
I am very much with you on this one, Mickey.
Good man! You also make good standing on my list of repliables, as does my mate Rooster (good history poster) and of course Red Loc, but please refrain from the Barry Norman impressions lol..
You could atleast make it shorter. :D
How come you don't post here much?
Yeah, It's king_rich_loc@live.com
I made an account awhile back, but i got caught up with my channel , but im back now and ill be posting as much as i can.
ROOSTER
To minion & Rellik... I will recognise you as sensible posters..
Are there any more of you ???????????????

Or, You could make your intros shorter from now on. :D
lol maybe in the future, at this moment i have got alot of good feedback from it. i was going to changet a few weeks back but many people adviced not to, so i ended up changing the intro but with same music and length.
BTW have you got MSN? if you wanna talk id could give u my MSN email? :boxing:
I know, I like your vids, I just don't like the intros. :D
well thats the main thing isnt it? =D
you like my videos, so as long as i make good videos you will deal with it.. Problem solved =P :boxing:
Ok, two things:
First, and to answer most of your question(s)...the average asshole here is probably 18 to 25, and a mental midget. When you have a majority of immature kids on a forum, you'll get a majority of stupid threads. Don't get me wrong, there are some great guys here too, with as much knowledge of the sport as many professionals who are in the business, but they're not in the majority. Making it a pay site would help, but it would also reduce the number of members by at least 90%, making it almost pointless to have the forum in the first place.
And second:
Forget about the second, I was going to mention some experiences I had in the country where you live, but to be honest, they are irrelevant, and highly XXXX-rated anyway.
Referring to 'second' it's a great place for boxing fans.. There's plenty of boxing 'theme bars' some of which have rings.. A great night of entertainment, is watching drunken tourists (Farang) climbing into the ring & taking on local Mai Thai/Boxing pros.. There's no real infra structure, much like the 'wild west'.. On the odd occasion, the Thai gets battered, but more often than not, the Farang gets gassed, bashed & quits before he gets hurt..
With regard to the ex factor.. This place has often been described as 'Dysney World For Adults' If you've been here, I need say no more.. As for me, I've been here for 6 years & have a cool relationship my with wife, Nee.. Not sure if the marriage is legal or not lol, but she's a good'un.. If I do get tempted, there's always Boxing Scene, to which she refers to as 'wife no 2' lol
Many thanks for all the construtive support thus far...
Namely:
Pretty boy 1
Tred Killer
deanrw
Stickman
Mangler
Good support from Dutty Alucrity.. Get the impression you could be 'old school'
Talip Bin Osman.. You're a good poster... NEVER give up the fight!
I'll make a cordial note, regards further correspondance with you guys.. This is a feeler thread in order to disypher the good from the bad...
Regards to the aforementioned, MM

We can all point the finger at the community as a whole, but this site in general does nothing to get rid of the bad eggs. The bad eggs only have to create a new account and rinse-repeat.
About 95% of the members of this site has potential, but 5% can be disruptive enough to lower not only the expectations of the rest, but also drag some otherwise decent posters down with them.
There are many posters in here who have been banned 10+ times. They are never truly banned though. They only get their name taken away until they can make up a new one. So this sites own policies is at the minimum partly to blame.
I don't think there is anything wrong with posters hyping a fighter they like but I agree I've had enough of the needless fighter bashing or fighter nuthugging threads! There are still a lot of quality amongst the rubbish though and you've just got to weed out the good threads and posts from the bad!! I do think BPP needs to do a clear out though!
