because they want mayweather - pacquiao?
i sure as hell want to see this fight just as much as mayweather pacman.
i mean this man arquably beat pacquiao twice.+ he beat juan diaz at 135 ! not david diaz. juan manuel would have done the same to oscar at this point of his career, and would have schooled hatton IMO.
and i really am thinking there is going to be an upset jmm is going to beat floyd. i have this feeling he is going to do it. he also always gives us great fights with great drama and action.
whoever doesnt want to see this fight because of money-pacman , isnt a real boxing fan and should watch golf !
saying you would pay for pacman floyd then?
I have paid for all of Pac's PPV fights except for the Morales II fight since I was at my brother-in-law's place that time so he paid. As you might have guessed by now, I am a Pac fan. Not a nuthugger. Just a fan. A big fan I might add. That should answer your question.
It's interesting that many fight fans would brush Mayweather vs Marquez off.
Because if Marquez just so happens to upset Floyd, I'm guessing it'll be the most uploaded, downloaded, and shared fight on the internet.
Some would be craving for a rematch to be certain it wasn't a fluke.
That's just a guess.
JMM is one of my very favourite fighters but hes hardly elusive which is why I think Floyd (who im an admirer of also for his sheer skill) will win. Still looking forward to this though. I just want to see great fighters facing off against each other. If JMM could pull this off it would be huge. Still think that Floyd is just too slick and quick (nevermind his defensive qaulities) for Marquez. Complete respect for JMM though for taking on the most skilled boxer on the planet though, regardless of the result hes still a living legend in my eyes!

Ill watch but I won't pay
I'm rooting hard for Marquez to whip Floyd's ass in this fight. And being a big fan of Juan Manuel Marquez, it is like an obligation to me to buy this fight and root him on. Even though I know the bigger cut of my PPV money is going into Floyd's pocket. For one thing, September 10th is my b-day and I can get my dad to pay for the fight because he is kind of a boxing fan. I can watch it over at his crib. And you can use a 24 pack of Tecate to split the cost. That aside, I don't think Pacquiao stands any more of a chance against Mayweather than Marquez does. Marquez has fought slick fighters before, where as that kind of style is like a mystery to Pacquiao. I think JMM is possibly a tougher fight for Floyd. There would be no way to find out unless Mayweather beats Marquez and then goes on to fight Pacquiao though.
bet you it would sell more than 3 thousand tickets
in the first hour
Tbh though. I think people have forgotten about Floyd. I remember people really getting pissed off after the Oscar fight. People I know that never watch boxing unless Tyson is involved bought the fight due to Mayweather talking about massacring De La Hoya, and saying it would be a bloodbath only to see some shit that looked like ballet. The the Hatton fight came along, and the shit talking drew a minority of the people I knew that watched the fight in. Floyd got the KO this time, but a lot of them swore they would never pay to see him fight again. Weird though because Floyd sold well against Zab and Baldomire. People have turned on him.
PAC-PBF
Cotto-Shane 2
JMM-Hatton (so juan at least gets a payday)
this is what this fight fan wants to really see
Same, but I don't expect Floyd to jump straight in with Pacquiao after 18 months off, we dunno how the lay-off could have affected him. I never thought of JMM vs Hatton... nice thought though...
if marquez was a natural welterweight i'd die to see this fight but we all know mayweather is being a little bitch by fighting someone that never fought above 135
why would he go up? unles there was a big fight out there. just like pacman did against delahoya and hatton. now he gets a big fight and goes up.
so i expect that you have already purchased ur tickets for pbf vs. jmm.. no excuse there's still thousands left
jmm might not be as big a draw now like pacman, but he would have been too if he fought and beat oscar and hatton. a real boxing fan would love this fight imo.
**** no.
I wanna see Mayweather Marquez cause its the most interesting matchup we wil probably ever see.
Brains vs Brains
Pacquiao Cotto will be more of a slugfest Battle than anything. Two skilled warriors. The man with the better chin will win

styles make fights.....n i see this fight being BORING.....marquez kinda fight like smaller de la hoya....n i just see a repeat in this fight unless that two year layoff had some kinda eefect on gayweather
I'm happy that Mayweather returns. His choice of opponent sucks. I would be more interested if he picked a welterweight contender as a tune up instead of a 36 year-old blown-up super feather.
Let's see what he does after this. I'm happy if he takes on Cotto at 147 or pac at 140 next depending on in which division he want's to campaign.
