I dont know if its just me but i dont think this is the fight for paulie malignaggi.
I think this fight is almost a predictable loss.
I respect paulie (being an italian myself) but i really dont think this is the fight he's looking for.
Diaz is kind of a hatton type in the sense that he's a pressure fighter that always puts his punches in bunches...knows how to work the body; etc.
I think paulie's biting off more than he can chew right now especially since i doubt he has the pop in his punches to keep diaz off him in the mid to late rounds.
thoughts?

i will put all my points on diaz.. its as certain as that IMO
paulie better start taking steroids because in paulies last recent fights i havent seen any pop on his punches he needs to stop thinking hes mayweather
I think he has to take these fights. He won't move up the rankings by just fighting cans. If your at his kinda level, whats the point of fighting if your not gunna fight the best. I do like both Paulie and Juan. But I have to agree, this is going to be a tough fight for Paulie. Juan by UD, I'm thinking.
to 787: um...yeah...since the day i was born. haha. are you thinking of someone else by chance?
to shobox: thats what im thinking. the risk/reward factor for diaz will be easy to realize...
if paulie cant hurt him then why would diaz worry about trying to get inside on paulie when he can walk through the punches to land his own?
i have a feeling on the day they fight i will be disapointed by the time its all said and done. but forget the odds, i will be pulling for paulie none-the-less.
what if he wins? what do you guys think that would do for his career? where would he be placed at? what fights do you think he could land if he wins this one?
malignagi just doesnt have the power to hold off pressure fighters , if they dont respect your power thaey are just going to walk through all your punches and land their own at will like hatton did
Diaz will smoke Paulie.
thats what im thinking.
soon as i heard this fight was going to happen i immediately thought, "oh f**K". it just doesnt seem like the right opponent for paulie.
not if he wants to climb higher in the ranks anyway.
