The best counter-uppercut I have ever laid eyes upon.
can cotto survive JMM's left uppercut? course he can!! wtf kinda thread is this - JMM couldn't knock out cotto with plastered gloves!!
anyways JMM does have the best uppercut in the buisness, he threw a few great left uppercuts vs diaz in what was a thrilling match up. JMM might not have floyds or pacman's speed but he lands the shot very quickly and accurately (with either hand), he times it well when he sees the window for the shot and can throw it from any sort of distance. an example of this is to ask yourself how often have you seen him miss an uppercut?
Does JMM carry the same power to 140??? Another stupid Cotto bashing thread...if you want to talk about JMM great COUNTER uppercut then just talk about it...but to ask if Cotto would survive it is dumb (unless your intent is to disprove Cotto's chin) - would JMM be able survive Cotto's left hook?
cotto couldnt survive in a 4 round match against mayweather
what?? u r a moron
we dont know how much power jmm has at 140. can jmm take the left hook upstair by cotto??
that's what i was thinking.
:haha:
But really. I mean, JMM's counter uppercuts do DAMAGE. I wonder if he can get hit with it and really continue or would he be hurt and not recover.
and no Yeks, I am not overrating JMM's punch that dropped Diaz. That one wasn't even a counter. Im talking about JMM's counter uppercut.
cotto certainly can...
has cotto ever been KOed??
margo definitely administered a beating on cotto but he was not stopped literally.. well, technically yes..
everyone seems to underrate cotto's chin as if it was made in glass.. or just overating that jmm's punch that drop diaz? :nonono:
He does have one of the greatest, overlooked uppercuts in the game. Actually, he probably has the best in the game today pretty easily. Throws it from all angles, with power, from mid-range with feints and from right up close. Amazing punch for Marquez.
