does pac hit harder than clottey?

no I think Clottey is the harder hitter. I think the Clottey fight was a good preparation fight for Manny though, Clottey was a fighter who is fast handed, fast feet and on you all night. Cotto needed to know that against a tough SOB like Clottey he could take his best, deal with the cut and still walk away the victor. Big boost for his confidence going into this.

in general i think pac puts more on his punches than clottey, but i think if he wanted to, clottey could hit harder, but he don't fight in a style of hitting for power most of the time.. If he tried to hit harder in an actual fight he will be slower, less coordinated, less accurate, etc. His punches are made for his way of fighting. Manny puts everything into a punch but has become more controlled but still throws his punches with a lot of heat with no recoil so he can throw harder punches faster without the consequences of loading up on every punch.

Clottey is a tough dude. Tough and hard hitter are different. Pac hits hard

This is Boxing, the goal is to KTFO all your opponents. As a boxer that's his job, so every boxer can hurt or KO his opponents in any given time. The difference between Clottey and Manny is the physique, Clottey is mascular and bigger guy but that doesn't mean his a strong puncher and he doesn't punch with bad intent.. Manny on the otherhand, punch with ferocity, tenacity and bad intent and that is why he has a good KO percentage.

Yeah he does. Clottey is not a big puncher. Is he a harrder puncher than Mosley or Judah? I don't think so. Pac can punch though. I say Pac would pack a bigger wallop than Judah and Clottey, not Mosley though.

Cotto is very small in person too. I was very surprised the first time I seen him, he was so small lol and I'm not a big person. opposite of Manny. I met Manny in person and I thought he would be smaller than I expected. Manny is small but looks solid. I met Zab Judah and Aranaotis in person and I'd say they are very equal in size to Manny buildwise. I met Manny when he was in the 130lb division, he is prolly more solid now.

Manny hurts a lot of fighters due to his ability to land shots without his opponents seeing the punch coming. Clottey's are probably harder, but an opponent can see them coming easier. Can Manny hurt Cotto? You bet he can. He could hurt Floyd also. On the other side of the coin, they can hurt him also. Nope. You can see them comming. The initial punch no, but the following you can. He is a head hunter that throws 99.7% straights, there is no guessing when fighting Pacquiao. Pacquiao gets people down and out by throwing a large amount of punches. 100 punches thrown in a round, its all going to add up sooner or later. You eat 50 punches in 1 round, your going to go down eventually.

Does Clottey hit harder than Margarito? Edwin Valero's camp supposedly said that Pacquiao hits much harder than Margarito. So, if that is true and Margarito hits harder than Clottey. That means, Pacquiao hits harder than Clottey. Pac > Marg > Clottey (if all statements are true)
