EVER!
It's a big "if" that Khan beats Kotelnik.
At first I didn't really like this idea, but now i'm WELL up for it.
What's not to like, Khan would be a World Champ, and a very beatable world champ, plus Hatton would be on his comeback after fighting the best fighter in the world.
Both guys are the BIGGEST BOXING NAMES in the UK, these guys are on the ONLY PPV cards made over here, even if Calzaghe was still fighting you could still make the argument that these guys are more popular.
Khan-Hatton would be a MASSIVE event, I know most people outside the UK probably won't get it, but trust me, I think it could easily sell out a stadium.
BRING ON Khan v Hatton!
Surely these cats on BS can't be considered representative of fight fans as a whole. But I wonder if Hatton's supporters in the UK have turned and abandoned him as many here have seemed to. If not, this fight could be huge over there.
of course they haven't. Think about it, if 20,000 people are willing to travel half way across the world to watch him fight, how many in a country of 70 million people are going to be willing to pay to watch him inside the country.
The fight would be massive and Khan (somewhat unbelievably) is a huge name here too.
Well im half English/American and i felt Hatton let me down as a fan of his personally that night and alot of others seem to feel the same. His performance after all the talk was shocking, no head movement/jab anything, bet my house i wouldn't have bet 2 pence on the dude..
Some people i talk to in the uk are with me (the boxing fans) depends on the other Hatton fans.
i felt let down aswell, but in all honesty i dont see the point in hatton having any more fights. he hasnt got the punch resistance he once had anymore.
hatton vs lazcano sold out in a record amount of time so this would sell out easily and i dont see why it shouldnt happen
i would love to see it happen.i think ricky beats both, and then a fairwell fight agint witter then retire.:boxing:
The main 'IF'..... Is, will Hatton fight on......
Unfortunatelly, I think he will....
I know the UK scene inside out....
Examples:
Stracey Vs 'Boy' Green (ex champ gets done)
Minter Vs Sibson (ex champ gets done)
McGuigan Vs McDonnell (ex champ gets done)
Hatton Vs Khan/ Witter (ex champ gets done)
Nothing changes....... This fight WILL happen, even if Khan loses to Kotelink..
Nothing changes in the UK of A.... That's for sure.....
Watch it, and weep.....
ooo your so knowledgable mickey,u know how to make a man moist
haha im messing

Im still a fan of Ricky after his defeat to Pacquiao. Sure, I felt a little let down at the performance, but if you're a fan of someone you don't just drop them after a bad defeat. He's had a good career and only lost to the P4P #1s. With Ricky's style, he was always going to fall short of the elite guys but he had us hoping he'd made changes and improvements which is what made the defeat to Pac so crushing for some. If he was to fight Khan, it would be definitley be a big event in the UK and I imagine most would support Ricky again. I also think Ricky would KO Khan within 5 rounds. Khan is NOT Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather.

I hope Khan beats the living crap outta Hatton so that Hatton finally retires.
lets see if khan get dispose of hatton as easily as prescott knocked him out yeah?

Yep, plus there would be plenty of uncertainties about the fight.
How much has Hatton got left?
Hatton "ONLY" lost against the best in the world, Khan is nowhere near that.
Would Khans speed trouble Hatton?
How "good" is Hattons chin atm, could he take Khans punches?
Khan generally doesn't do well against pressure fighters, Michael Gomez had him down and hurt him
How much has Khan improved with Roach, is it enough to beat Hatton now, Hatton was blasted out so quickly we don't know what he has left, he did have "minor" success in the second round, plus he easily outclassed a world champ in Malignaggi the previous fight
Did Hattons trainer/training camp cause him problems against Pacquiao?
