The conventional minds will all pick Ali because historically he has a greater personna, but often prognostications in sports and what people think will happen turn out to be very different when the event actually takes place.
This event unfortunately will never take place, but I am a big Holyfield fan who thinks he would give Ali a helluva of fight when he was in his prime, and possibly win. I don't think either one would be knocked out because both had hearts too big and chins too solid to go down. Although Holyfield was certainly no featherfist.
Ali was usually the recipient of favorable scoring, if the outcome was at all in doubt. But I think Holyfield would have been the best, and most versatile fighter Ali ever faced with the exception of Joe Frazier.
id like to see wlad fight 4 times a year against the kind of comp holy faced....lol he got ktfo 3 times against the mediocre comp hes faced, how many times would he get ktfo against the dudes holy faced
thats just a stupid comment, sometimes you have to stand in and go toe to toe, you wouldnt know that because you've never boxed and worship bitchko
Remember Kostya, it's all about the median career record of the competition. And oh yeah, KO percentages.
A lot depends on the referee. I think Ali should win a decision after getting headbutted every time he goes to clinch. Which could be a lot of headbutts if its an after prison Ali.
It would be interesting to see how it played out. Holyfield would frustrate Ali like mad.
You think he was a roidster?
Both are unbelievable featherfists with solid chins. Thus it would go 15 rounds.
However: Since Evan Fields is backup'ed by hormones I think Fields wins.
