Right, first off I wanna say that I do like David Haye and am a fan of him... I think he brings great character to the HW division.
But, I been thinking a little bit, and to be honest the guy needs to fight more... on many occasions he has not had a fight until something like 8 months after his previous one... and in fairness he has only had 23 fights.
I think he has good potential and is a good fighter, but don't you guys think that he needs to start fighting much more and fight more contenders, the guy is 28 which is still young but it still doesn't give him that much time if he continues to fight as often as he does at the moment...
So what do you guys think? You think he should fight more? Or don't you think it matters cause of whatever reasons such as bussiness?

He would have been 40-0 and consider the best HW while fight 39 bums then one decent fighter who would have been at the end of their career if he was promoted by Frank warren, The reason he has only 23 odd fights is because he bypass fighting bum and get the tougher fighters in at an early stage in his career.
Defo needs to be fighting much more often, id like to see ALL the main guys fighting about 4 or 5 times a year infact.
Robinson and Lamotta managed to cram in the fights, why cant our stars of today what with all the modern devolopments and advances
In general its one of the problems with boxing, that 3-4 fights a year is considered a very busy schedule for an established boxer. I am not saying go back to the old days when they fought 20 times a year, but there has to be some in between.
i think fighters should fight at least 3 times a year depending on their situation.
IMO, all fighters should be as active as they can possibly be. If they have a personal life without a family or other obligations, that means more time to spend in camp. If they score a quick KO or get thru a fight without sufferin any physical damage that needs to heal up, the sooner they can get back in the ring. This is why fighters take stay busy fights against soft opponents, it helps em stay fresh. A guy like SSM for instance, who coulda fought Berto for unification but refused is surprisin. Especially cuz he ain't got career time to waste and wants a payday. I'd like to see Haye fight more, but if he ain't there must be a reason.
i voted no. he obviously only wants to fight with his mouth not his fists. its one thing to talk a lot of shit when you actually back it up...its another thing to just back out. i've lost alot of respect for this clown.

i hate how people say he's the best HW to fight the klits and he only had 1 HW fight.
and that was one of my main problems with him is that he isn't consitiant. i was hoping he fight a few more contenders before fighting wald but he decide to go for both of them.....
and he said he retiring when he turns 30 or 31 i think
