Is it me or does it seem Bertos camp isn't pushing for a Cotto, Clottey,Mosley fight

Quintana-Berto is the next logical choice. They should make that fight ASAP.

Berto will get his ass beat by Clottey they need to stay away from him at all costs. Cotto will outwork him easily. but I still give him a shot at Mosley. Mosley looked bad for several fights then looked good against a walking punching bag. I think Mosley gets beat in his next fight and everyone will talk about how shot he is.

Fernando Vargas??? Trust me, Berto himself even knows he isn't quite ready for the top men just yet. He will earn my respect if a Collazo rematch comes off next though. He needs 2 more fights before calling out any of the big boys (Mosley/Cotto/Clottey) or it will be another case of 'El Feroz'.

no hes not ready for those guys and tbh i dont think he will be. imo the SSM and berto fight was being touted after SSM's win over mayorga, mosley looked old in that fight and as though he might be on the decline. however since his win over margarito that proposed fight has been quiet. imo berto should rematch collazo and if he wins look to take on clottey or cotto i think SSM would KO him within 5 rounds. hopefully collazo wins though and we get to see collazo against the like of clottey and cotto.

To me it seems like they don't want to fight any of the top welters. hbo is runing a daycare center and berto is there being looked over. they need to cut the b.s. and put him in there with a ww contender. jww's like urango aint cutting it.

he's got lots of potentail, but just doesnt bother with it, i hate it when he fights on the inside, he takes unnecassary punishment and gets nothing done.

LOL he should fight collazo again. He wont be able to clearly beat Collazo. If you can not beat Collazo clearly then you are NOT an elite. Collazo is the guy who shows us if you are champion material or not.

Berto wont ever be as good as any of the top current WW or at least he still has a lot to improve on. So i guess it makes sense that he's being protected as much as possible. Obviously Mosley has no interested money wise fighting Berto but if he did decide he did want him he would KTFO Berto!

If Berto is not available to fight Cotto, then, Cotto should go after Collazo or Pwill. Cotto wouldn't need to go down in weight to fight those guys. In fact, Pwill may have problems going down to 147 again, that's an advantage to Cotto. If not, Cotto can rematch Clottey. Clottey deserves it. Or just wait until Marg's suspension is lifted. Cotto seems to have other options. He should just move on. Forget about the Pac payday. He can't fight below 147 as his fans constantly say.

They don't want it, but they gonna have no choice pretty soon. He may rematch Collzo first, but if he wins, he gonna have to fight the big dogs.

Nah they know he's not quite there yet. I wish he didn't have a belt, because he's not ready to be fighting the top echelon boxers, so he's just getting in the way in a very strong division I'm happy with his level of opposition at the moment though
