Hatton? no
Chico? no, great win at the time.. But he wasnt an A fighter
Castillo? no, B+ at best
Hernandez? MAYBE
Oscar? WAS an A fighter but not at 34 fighting once a year
Ummm... Definately no Hall of Famers(except Oscar)
What the **** is this thread. Every one of the fighters mensioned are A fighters.
If not, what is an A fighter? just Pacquiao?
Ahaha what a ****ing waste of a thread. GTFO :peeright::peeright::peeright::peeright:

If Floyd stans say Cotto is a B+ fighter than no hes only beaten C- fighters
Yeah by today's standards he could be. That Margarito loss makes it a debate though. Bad style matchup. And of course the plaster issue is up in the air...
Even though he lost that fight, and Margarito is a caught cheater, I believe in my heart he still would have lost. The best man won that fight, that fight was a fight of who wanted it more with his heart, and Margarito showed regardless of having cheated, the most heart in that fight, Cotto was overlooking him to set up a potential showdown with Oscar, and he didn't fight with all his potential I believe. And if a rematch does happen, Margarito wins again because I belive that psycologically he has beaten Miguel to a point where his confidence in himself would be so much that would really expose the best in him, beating Miguel even faster than before.
Come on ex you can't deny that MIguel is a A class fighter, the resume speaks for itself, in welterweight alone : Quintana, Urkal, Judah, Mosley, Gomez, Margarito, Jennings and Clottey, only losing to a suspended cheater. And that's just in welterweight my friend, he has quite a resume in 140 as well. Floyd in welterweight : Baldomir and Judah.
And I dont want people to think im taking away from Floyd. I've said it before, but let me make it clear.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is the absolutely, most naturally talented fighter of this generation, his skills are unmatched by anybody, and he could beat anybody within 135-147, ( except maybe Williams, he just throws a inhuman amount of punches and it's nearly impossible to win rounds against, but in terms of skill Floyd is better), the problem with Floyd, is that he has chosen to fight people for money instead of fighting for the boxing fans and fights that will make him break the top 15 ATG ( Pacquiao, Margarito, Mosley, Cotto)

Who do you consider to be an A level fighter?
If we talkin all time I would consider very few fighters A level
Currently probably Pacquiao. I wudda sed Cotto but an A level fighter wouldn't have lost to a C- level fighter(Margarito)...although it was a bad style matchup...

Corrales & Hatton were both borderline top 10 p4p when Mayweather fought them.
Castillo was #1 or #2 at lightweight when their fight occurred
Hernandez, its funny you should say he might be the A level fighter among them. Genaro was definently skilled though, he may or may not have been.
Oscar was past is, but Floyd had to move to 154 for that fight.
you must have an extremely thin definition of A Level

All those dudes will most likely end up in the hall of fame, the IBHOF has pretty low standards
