Has Williams done enough at 160 to warrant a fight between him and pavlik or abraham?

as i said before, I'll say it again, p will has the skills to beat pavlik sturm and anybody else not named abraham.go see a abraham fight before any of you assume he can beat abraham..its not happening.

Guzman got a title shot at Nate in his first scheduled fight at 135. Roy Jones got a title shot against Toney in his first fight at 168. Roy Jones got a title fight against Ruiz in his first fight at heavyweight. So whats your point? Abraham's only chance of beating Paul Williams is to hope that he lands something big and hope Williams can't take it. Because Abraham has a very similar style to Winky Wright. And well, you saw what happened didn't you. Pavlik I think stands a better chance of beating Williams, because he has a more offensive mind set. But Williams has the versatility to beat him I think. He doesn't have Jermaine Taylor's punching power, but he has way better stamina. He is a better fighter than Taylor period. That is why Williams would be the toughest opponent in Pavlik's career except maybe Hopkins.

Sure he does. Winky was still a top 10 Middleweight, and the division is pretty shitty overall.

Shutting out Winky Wright, regardless of age or inactivity, is enough to be a major player in the Middleweight division.

I think Paul would clearly defeat Pavlik in 12. Paul has better handspeed, head movement...his stamina is on point. He's got a good chin from what we've seen. His defense isn't great but neither is Pavlik's. This fight should happen although Arum would be smart to not allow it... I've only seen 1-2 of Abraham fights so I can't speak much on him. And I think P.Will has to beat Sturm or another top contender at 160 to demand a fight with Pavlik or Abraham...

Williams beat Winky. That's better than anything Abraham did, and almost as good as what Pavlik did.

i say pwill beats abraham by UD...but i see him getting brutally KOed by pavlik..when he fought winky i saw him get wobbled a few times and as we all know winky has barely any power..pavlik would knock him out cold but i could see him keeping his distance and busting abraham up for 12 rounds
