Clottey v cotto why didnt he finish cotto off?

O.k Im after watching the fight again and i still find it hard to pick a winner,while i think clottey controlled the fight and caught cotto with some lovely punches,wen cotto seemed hurt clottey didnt finish him,he whined the whole fight trying to get points deducted wen all he had to do was throw a few extra punches and he was a cert to win,I had 200 on clottey to win the fight and am disgusted he didnt make sure of the win. I had no doubt in my mind wen i made the bet that he was gona fu*k cotto up but i gotta give cotto credit he took everything clottey had to throw. If clottey had of done what he did in middle rounds in the later rounds he could not of lost. in order to win a champion's belt you have to take it from him,especially in fornt of a Pr crowd in MSG. So now im 200 dollars worse off and clottey blew his big chance to make a statement to the rest of the big names. im a big fan of clottey's and all this talk about robbery I tink he has noone to blame but himself. Cotto was there for the taking.......man clottey u frustrate me so much!!!!
