just rewatched lewis vs. klitschko

^^^^^^ Lewis was old and over it really though, you have to take that into account he didnt look too old in his previous fight. he was a young 37 having started his pro career late and never took any long beatings

Yeah, it was so close to being an epic night. I mean, someone was getting KO'd in that fight if that freak cut doesn't happen. And to me, it looked like it was going to be Lennox. That "punch" that cut him didn't even land, it slid over his eye and tore it, that's why it wasn't a clean cut. Just a total freak thing that wouldn't happen again if they fought 100 times. Oh what I'd give to see what would've happened in the championship rounds of that fight... Vitali begging (and pleading) for a rematch, and Lennox turning down 20 mil for the rematch ultimately tells the story of that fight.

Not a good fight? Klitschko put down 3 times early on then came back to win an easy UD after wobbling peter with some nasty shots,I thought that was Wlads most exciting fight. That says alot about Wlad.

i agree TS,vitali caught lewis at the right time in his career but nearly had his face ripped off but was doing very well despite that showed great heart and skill

Even the commentators were saying how disgraceful his performance was He did do a shit-load of grabbing in that fight but that was a good scrap. Had a lot of tension. I kept waiting for Wlad to get his lights turned out even while he was dominating the fight.

I would say Brewster-Liakhovich was the last great HW title fight I've seen. Great back and forth action, one guy would be in trouble, then take the next round. Yeah, Brewster-Liakhovich was a war. Great fight.

its crazy to see the look on lewis' face at the end of the fight. he knew he had been in a war and may have lost. I dunno if he didnt train properly or just got old overnight. I know he was training for Kirk Johnson(haha) so maybe thats why he was lacking in training? the world may never know
