And why should the TS catch shit for making this thread? It's legitimate in my view. Sure, there's other fights I would rather see, but this is no less of a circus act than Pacquiao-Cotto.
Gotta agree with u..JMM by KO..hehehe..but seriously, I think JMM would win this fight..Is it just me or it's a fact that Cotto doesnt have that snap in his punches..it seems that he is having a hard time throwing his punches..maybe his arms are heavy..the result is that his punches are more of a push that a powerful punch..u could see it very clearly in the Clottey fight..the punches of CLottey look more powerful than what seemed like push punches of COtto..I think JMM has more snap in his punches.:boxing:
amazing...
people on here really think that for some reason the guy who BEAT pac TWICE would not be as competitive as pac himself? LMFAO! u guys are just as bad as the pbf fanclub who says he dont run and takes on all comers and has never cherry picked an opponent. be an honest fan of the sport kiddos. amazing...
simply because Cotto's not ready for Pacquiao, and that seems to be a little more of a closer bout. what y'all say?
jmm got no business at 147 lbs.
just cause cotto looked vulnerable against clottey doesn't mean pac is gonna walk through cotto. clottey is a big WW. Pac isn't even a WW, he is a jr WW. let's not forget that.

lol jmm the person that got a draw after 3 knock down. which mean that he outboxed pacquiao for most of the fight and you think it would be an easier fight that pacman
I don't take the fight seriously because it will likely never happen, but the fact that everybody totally counts JMM out of this fight goes to show how overrated Cotto is. Does everybody not see how this guy goes out of his way to bend down to eat the uppercut? And he wouldn't be able to do that against a guy who has the best uppercut in boxing P4P. I don't care what the size difference is. Cotto's chin isn't cast iron and JMM isn't a featherfisted puncher. He has also seen the championship rounds more than Cotto has. Cotto couldn't handle an onslaught from somebody of JMM's caliber while being exhausted in the late rounds. If JMM could be strong enough to back him up, which is the only thing I'm skeptical of, he would take Cotto out. Cotto's stamina sucks and JMM's stamina is world class regardless of age. If the fight went to the cards though, Cotto would likely get the decision since you have to knock him out to beat him at MSG.
cotto is a technically better boxer than pacquiao but he's not technically better than marquez but may be to big for marquez so either way there are advantages and disadvantages either way but i think marquez will give cotto more problems than pacquiao will, cotto is a much better fighter than the 3 previous opponents of pacquiao, much much better
Lol, just like every opponent Floyd beats, Cotto would murder that JMM. Lol. This thread fails at life. COtto beats everybody except Mosley at this point, and Margarito.

I think Pac is a lil bigger than jmm and Pac is more comfortable in 140+. Lets see how jmm looks against floyd first.. then maybe we can talk about Cotto Vs JMM.

got a point there

This fight would have to happen really late in the year. I may be in the minority, but Cotto would get beaten up even worse against JMM than he would against Pacquiao even though he has the ability to pick his poison against either guy. I can't imagine Cotto being able to cope with those pinpoint uppercuts that JMM throws. He also lacks the stamina that JMM has. He's also not as dedicated in his training regime. Cotto would have to get to him early or he would be in deep water when it came to the late rounds. JMM is more experienced on the world class level.
hmm.. even if he was moving up to WW for Mayweather, he loses the power game to Cotto, because it's not his natural size and he's not a boxer-type fighter: he'd prob. get eaten alive. you're right, my bad. thread dismissed.
