Throwing effective uppercuts is not something you learn in a few months. It takes years to master.
anyway bac to business, that chic real or wat? lol
hey man wanna bet on it? all my points to 1k lol pacman will win by TKO or UD
Think people need to take a few things into consideration here. Clottey is no ****ing journey man, but a very effective and talented boxer, who has a very impressive record,39 Fights, 35 Wins. Were people expecting cotto to steam roll him? Was never guna happen. I also think people are not giving Cotto enough credit for the shift he put in on saturday. He won this fight against a top top welterweight having been blinded with blood in one eye for 3/4 of the fight, that above all else should be enough to give Cotto respect. Not this Pac would whoop cotto nonsence
Is not like Pacquiao throws uppercuts dude so Cotto dosen't have to worry about that.
roach will b bang on that man, pacman will b practicing uppercuts from now till november ;P
n ur avi chic has an amazin ass!! that real?
after reading pac/cotto fight is gonna happen
im still standing by it, i like both pac/cotto, but i think pac will completely out work cotto to quit or tko..theres something about the way cotto backs up like he's out of stamina and panicking, something i think pacman can see wud suit him fine..
i'm willing to bet my...erm...6k? lol... to 1k for this LOL...b gd fight anyway :boxing:
I think that if Pacquiao can take Cotto's shots maybe he can beat him. Cotto looks like a fighter in decline. He has been in some wars, and last night I though the effects were there too see, and worryingly he seems to be completely unable to stop uppercuts with anything other than his face.
Excellent post.
Cotto isn't the same. Some would place the blame on Margarito but I disagree. Kermit Cintron seems to be doing fine. Same with Williams and Clottey. Cotto's defense has always been porous--his offense, toughness and underrated intelligence have taken him very far. Even this version was able to outlast Clottey fighting with a terrible eye. Whether you feel the decision was right or wrong, give props to the man for taking on yet another tough challenge and meeting it head on.
I think you have to give Pacman the edge should the two ever meet, particularly if it's at a catchweight. But don't be surprised if Cotto pulls off the unexpected. At worse, he will certainly make people remember Pac's flaws; flaws that seem to be a long-forgotten memory.
Clottey and pac really couldnt be different styled fighters. I dont think this fight showed us anything that cotto - pac would be like besides cotto has to work on his stamina
coz i do, pacman's workrate would be too much IMO..what u think?
Ok....do you think Pacquiao could beat a real WW? SSM or Clottey? let's take it even further....do you think Pacman will fight him @ 147? of course not....Clottey is not and easy fighter for any one. Why do you think SSM and the rest of the division don't want to fight him? The only way Pacquiao fights Cotto is by him agreeing on a catch weight, translation= dehydrated and not full strength, simple as that....no BS, no unbiased, plain and simple the truth!
yeh just seen theres nuff threads sayin pac wud whoop him or along those lines...guess this is one more then oops
Nah its all good bruv but just like i said on them Pac beats him...
Pacquiao would hurt Cotto bad.
I said before. Cotto has problems with relentless pressure and guys with high punch out put. Which Pacquiao is one of them.
I may not care for Cotto but got damn, if he fights Pacquiao at 140 and PWill at 147. I will have hell of a lot more respect for him. Fighting your weakness, is tough.
Like i said on the other previous threads knocking about on the same vibe
Pac knocks Cotto out or butchers him till the ref stops it
yeh just seen theres nuff threads sayin pac wud whoop him or along those lines...guess this is one more then oops
