Styles make fights....Even with "plaster"

u overrate how much damage plaster really does. cotto has been hurt in past fights, williams never has. margarito is a bigger puncher than quintana too, and eighter way it was really the pressure that did him in. williams fought margarito ffs, he took the same plaster shots cotto did. Im not overrating anything..Im merely pointing out the fact that if styles make fights then adding something like loaded gloves changes the dynamic too..Regardless of all that..Ive already made my point.

Ill start off by saying my boy Shane wouldve whooped Margos ass any day of the week regardless if he was loaded or not..But yes ill admit its not known how things wouldve gone if margo came in loaded. With that said. I wont even speculate on Cotto. But the whole argument of so and so took "plaster" and wasnt effected is a weak one. For example, ppl will say PW took plaster from Margo so he must be a beast..Well subsequent to that fight PW got his ears boxed off by Quintana who some say is a "c-class" fighter. So what wouldve happened if Quintana came in loaded for that fight? Especially since Quintana was able to badly cut PW and discourage him. Imo, PW's face wouldve looked like hamburger meat. No doubt in my mind he wouldve gotten stopped...Anybody see my point here? And that my friend is the only fact on this thread...........

Cotto lost to Margarito because he isn't good. An elite fighter would beat Margarito even if he had cement in his gloves. Margarito is so slow that his gloves shouldn't matter cuz he should never land on you. Mosley proved it, Paul Williams proved it, and Floyd Mayweather would have destroyed him too. Mosley was robbed against Cotto and the only reason why it was a close fight is cuz Mosley came in with an idiotic game plan drawn up by his idiot dad and gave away early rounds. In a 15-round fight, Mosley would have knocked him out late. With Nazim in his corner in a rematch, Mosley beats Cotto down and knocks him out early.

Mosley fought smart, but I don't know if he beats a plaster Margarito, if a non-plaster Margarito was able to land 108 punches on Mosley I'd assume one with plaster would land more and the shots would hurt a hell alot more. Plaster isn't some little advantage, its a huge one. Youre right.. But im not saying its not an advantage. And no one can know for sure what wouldve happened in the Mosley fight.
