who here dosent like old school boxing or boxers???

I get pissed of quickly watching poor quality footage, other than that I would watch a lot more old school fights. anything pre 60s is difficult for me to watch.

who here dosent like watching old fighters etc Tunney, Robinson, Jack Johnson etc??????? and just has no interest in them times and just likes modern boxing well? be honest Depends on whom it is. I love watching Joe Louis's knockouts. Jack Johnson is one of the most boring fights I have ever watched.

As a boxing fan, why the fukk would you hate on old school fighters? Makes no sense.

the only thing i dont like about old school boxers is how historians and writers portray them as inhumanly superior in all terms to modern day boxers...... to tell you the truth, most of them really were superior (elites). Ex...throw a joe frazier in the hw div right now and hell clean it up in 2yrs or less :boxing:

That's because old school boxers make today's boxers look prissy. Most of these throwback fighters would sometimes fight 3-4 times a month. Nowaday's if a fighter stubs his pinky toe, the fight is cancelled or postponed.

If you don't like old school boxers and boxing, you don't like boxing...period.

Old school boxing consists of heart, determination, and putting it all on the line to prove you're the best. It was actually a sport back then. Now its filled with nothing but a bunch of greedy business men. The only ones i can think of that DONT like old school boxing are the pesky Floydboyz here who think boxing is only about ppv numbers and money. Thank god for the few throwback fighters we still have in the sport. interesting!!!!
