Geez, NSB is full of dickheads today.
If I said something, quote it, if not GTFO
I'm outta here, you guys enjoy that bus tomorrow, I bet them windows will be extra tasty
greatjoe..you said if haye beats the lower ranked fighters at heavy and the klits he should be p4p right???wlad has beaten damn near everyone in the division already..so how will that make haye p4p and wlad isnt p4p?
Because Haye is a lot smaller than Wlad, and we're talking about him beating them both, being Undisputed Champ at two different divisions. If that's not the stuff of p4p, then what is? Hell Margarito got bumped up to #6 p4p simply by beating the smaller Cotto.
Honestly, I would stake my house, car and kidneys at 10-1 odds that Haye doesn't beat both Klitschkos in his career.
As it is I am pissed off because I had a $4000 bet on Wlad over Haye at great odds and I was counting on that money for an awesome vacation.
That sucks. If you got even decent odds on Klit.. conventional wisdom suggests you were sitting real pretty.
My response was that the argument he's using was bullshit.
Why can't you see that, my posts have nothing to do with Wlad/Vitali/Haye, i'm not discussing that, i'm discussing the argument he's trying to use.
It's like trying to teach a Monkey how to write talking to you.
You keep attacking me b/c YOU feel stupid but understand this. Larry's point does make sense. Beating low ranked fighters is not going to get you a high rank. IMO the HW division should get more credit in the P4P rankings. You can continue hurling insults, but it only makes you look like an unruly child.
yea he wins by ko 46 out of 52 times and..this is the same division you said can make haye p4p????im lost here
What???
Not another thicko, and WHEN did I say this larrysmith?
The way I see this pound for pound thing anyway is that it can be ranked (fairly) on either of achievement or ability (I guess most people's lists are usually a mixture of both).
So if David Haye were to KO both Klitschko brothers (as that's likely his best chance of winning), he'd have beaten two fit, active, focused world champions, both of which are physically bigger and stronger than Haye (surely that must bode well in the P4P stakes). And he'd have been the genuine champion in 2 weight divisions (the only 2 that he could fight in as well). What more do you people want? Oh right I remember he's not American is he.. my mistake.
Who knows. he might do it.. The way things are going though it's hard to imagine the fights ever getting made.

Undisputed CW champ and Undisputed HW champ? Beating two guys much bigger than him to do it at HW? And he doesn't warrant consideration for top 10? What a garbage list.
Your point was in response to Larry who said neither Klit is P4P. So the reality of the situation is that your response was irrelevant to Larry's. However, in answer to your question. Yes if a fighter beat 10 opponents ranked 11-20, he would likely earn a top 10 position.

If he beat both Klitschko's he would easily be in the top-10.
But lets be honest, he is never going to beat one of them much less both.
We may as well be asking where Chad Dawson would be if he beat both Klitschkos.

Bullshit argument.
Say 1 guy beats everyone from number 11 down to 20, all by dominant KO/TKO.
You saying that guy wouldn't be ranked in the Top 10 P4P?

wouldnt be ranked on my list. as weak as the division is he would have to beat everyone, and then reign supreme with nothing but impressive performances for quite some time.
And there's the bias. Floyd Mayweather can just take 2 years out, fight a guy 2 weight classes below him (several fights ago the gap was 5 weight classes as well) and presumably if he wins he'd be ranked 1st or 2nd in this P4P list. You've just said that David Haye would have to beat more than everyone in his entire division. Why the hell would he have to do that? Nobody in the history of this pound for pound malarky has done that!
You said if he beat #s 11 through 20 would he be in the top 10. To that I say yes obviously he would however that point doesn't make any sense since he won't be doing that. Whatever I missed please enlighten me, and untwist your panties please.
Nope, I didn't mention Haye.
Please, go back to school and learn how to read.
Was I arguing that point?
The argument he was using doesn't make sense, abit like the "triangle theory".
Do you not understand?

well wlad has beaten damn near everyone in the division and isnt ranked
yea, and LOL to the division, and thus lack of good opposition.
And LOL to the way he wins, Doesn't exactly BLAST them out of there does he.
But Haye won't be doing that, and as I said Klit bros according to ring are ranked something like #50 and #51.

It's a bit dumb to say that Haye would be nowhere near a 'pound for pound' list if he were to beat both Klitschko brothers. Of course he would. He'd probably be top 3 or 4 in all honesty. You have to look at things like this too, would Bernard Hopkins still be fighting in a year-18 months time for example? Will Shane Mosley still be the top welterweight?
Personally I don't like these 'pound for pound' lists anyway as they're based on hype, fanbase and bias. If Haye beats both K bros, he's the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Fact.
