i think he is going to be very popular in the future if he can improve his game and dominate while looking good doing it. i know the poll has other top names but still.

Berto would beat lil Pac before he beat any of the top WW's right now.
I don't even see him doing that, I think Pacquiao knocks him out. Actually would be a great fight for Pacquiao to take at 147 for his first fight at that weight. I think he beats him, Berto says he would give Pacquiao problems because he is too slick for Pacquiao. I don't think so, the highest level I rank Berto is at about Hattons level.
berto overrated! me and all my frends watched collazo whoop his ass, then they announce berto the winner? we were all like WTF?!?!?!?! who saw that fight? seriously? berto almost got ktfo mad times! lol
Berto was seriously hurt in that fight at times but so was Collazo. I guess Berto realizes he isn't invincible anymore.that wasn't the first time berto was hurt. he was hurt against rivera
berto has no chance against any of them stylistically.
mosley has problems w/ taller guys with a lot of reach and a good jab (that's not berto)
cotto has problems w/ pressure fighters w/ great chins (that's not berto)
pbf can be outworked if he fights too defensely (that's not berto)
pac had problems w/ a counterpunching style (that' s not berto)
I miss the old Berto, I don't like what I've seen lately. He used to be very explosive, threw a mean combination and very entertaining to watch. He isn't gonna be popular if he doesn't go back to fighting the way he used to. I could be wrong but I think Collazo has alot to do with the way Berto has been fighting.
With the step up in comp, he seems to have taken a survive strategy instead of a kill one. He still wins but for how long?
mosley is probably the one.....berto is compact, mosley would pressure, hard to hit compact guys.....thats why mosley had so much touble hitting cotto.....
cotto could be caught by some uppers, but other than that he is all wrong for berto, even more compact.......
floyd would judah berto's ass......
pacquiao has too much power.....
Berto loses to all 4, his chin, stamina, and defense are convicts cuz they're past suspect. He was gassed by the 4th against Collazo and was fighting on pure heart and go his second wind in the 11th. If Collazo had a better punch, Berto would have had an L.
Sorry to break it to you guys, but Berto would own Cotto with his hand speed alone.
No he wouldn't, he isn't faster then Judah hell he might not even be faster then Mosley of now adays. Bertos hand speed was comparable to Collazo and no wonder why that fight was so close because both share similar traits expecially in the hand-speed department. You're just a clear-cut case of cotto hating, Berto is not that fast he is fast but not something Cotto hasn't seen before and better.
First of all is this boxing of Playboy? :trink26: I'm new in the boxing forum but I think I'm lost!
Anyway I would love Andre Berto fighting Manny Pacquiao if Pacquia move to 147lbs for his 7th division title. Its going to be a good fight.

You think so? ok :lame:
I also think Bert Sugar was spot on with his assessment on Andre Berto. There is nothing to be impressed about.
Bert Sugar said he was sleeping during the fight and everytime he waked up Berto was holding and he wehnt back to sleep again...I started to LMAO when he said that! Then he said "I am sure not paying 49.99 to watch that"
when did bert make these statements?
link?

He was fighting weaker opposition before so he was able to do a lot more against them. Against world class opponents he isn't able to do them types of things. I think he's the same fighter he's just been in against better competition recently.
can angulo make 147? If he can't then it can't be a comeback fight.
Probably not, but it would be a winnable fight for Angulo, even being weight drained maybe. HBO would probably get behind the fight if Angulo could get back into the win column.
I think a good come back fight for Angulo would be with Andre Berto if he could make the weight. When they headlined that card the other night, I said I thought Berto couldn't beat Angulo, and I still stand by that.
