SSM is pretty filled at 147, he didn't really make 147 in his last fight against Margarito, he had to shed a little. 144 might be a serious problem, I don't know. I'll have to wait and find out.
SSM weighed in 147.2..
All he did was fart on Oscar's mouth and voila, he's 147 five minutes later.
mayweather-jmm would do more ppv buys, mayweather being an american and the mexican people in the US backing up jmm
pac/shane would be more exciting thou
A US held fight between a Filipino and an Englishman did almost 900K buys just recently, and what nationality does Mosley has on his passport? Ugandan?
A great and exciting fight knows no nationalities. All the promoter has to do is to make it, and the casual and die hard fans will buy it...
Manny vs Shane will outdo Duckweather vs Marquez on all levels. And if Manny beats Shane, then he'll be able to rightfully claim the lion's share of the pot in a fight with Fraud.
people overrate the weight issue. just a pillow to lean on to justify their mistakes. there are bigger tangibles to the sport, weight is only one matter...
in the end, the better fighter wins
It has more to do with natural size. Shane is naturally bigger; the "equalizer" here is making Shane struggle by cutting a few more pounds, to make it more of a "fair" fight. So yes, after the playing field is set, the better fighter wins, but the size may or may not make a difference; we won't know until the fight is over.

Manny vs Shane at 144 would be very intriguing. I think Manny's speed would give Shane major problems. But Shane's got a great chin and very good power and he's fast himself (not as fast as Manny though). It's hard to imagine an outcome for this fight.
Fukk PPV sales. Cats worry about that shit too much. WW's should just fight WW's FFS. I do think Pac-SSM would be more excitin tho.
Thats exactly what ive been saying... this ppv and whos a bigger draw stuff is bullshit
pac/ssm for all 3 questions.
I think so too, and I think Manny, Freddie, Oscar and Shane know this. If Manny wins it'll give him negotiating leverage in a fight with Fraud. If Shane wins then Duckweather retires again.
