Who is the favourite in this one? From what I read on here it seems Abraham is anyway (personally I think Pavlik is far better) There was a poll a while back and I think Pavlik was favoured. I'm not sure though. I got Pavlik as well.

Pavlik should get full credit for beating him since everyone is crying out for this fight saying AA can beat him.

But surely if he loses to Abraham he will only have been beaten by one elite middleweight. If Abraham loses to Pavlik he will also only have been beaten by one elite middleweight. Does that mean Abraham is finished as well? Ah, that's quite a good point mate. However, I don't believe that Abraham will be finished like Pavlik. I think AA has some intangibles which Pavlik lacks. Don't get me wrong I like Pavlik, he's one of the favourite fighters in my sig. However, I think that Pavlik's confidence was rocked so much by his fight with B-Hop (which I blieve was evident in the Rubio fight), that if he loses this, he's not going to believe in himself for a long time. Granted, he's still young enough to potentially bounce back from the loss. However, what I was trying to say is that Pavlik should be fighting on a much higher level, just like he did against JT. If he wins this, he's on track to be with the top of his division, if not, I don't think he'll get the money fights, or the opportunities unless he becomes somebody's mandatory. At the end of the day, I just think AA could afford the loss more than Kelly.

There's been shit on here of AA havin trouble makin 160 already, so he has that excuse built in if they fight at MW. But Pavlik couldn't be blamed for that if AA signs a fukkin contract to fight him at 160. Pavlik should get full cred for a win if he gets it. Yeah he should get full credit, but he likely wont.

Simple as, it would cement him within a category of fighters who once showed a lot of promise and then fell short against the division's elite (Taylor wins aside).

I would give Pavlik full credit for a victory over Abraham. It's so obvious that excuses will be made though.

People are already assuming Arthur will be weight drained before the fight even happened, so it is a safe guess as to what the outcome/outcry would be. It is yeah. Pavlik won't get the credit he would deserve.
