Well has he?, let's put the Pacquiao fights aside since they were so damn close.
all those other apparent losses on his record were actually robberies. they were.
I suggest everyone watch the Norwood fight and the Chris John fight.
If you think Marquez beat Pacquiao, the man has never lost.
Or if you want to be fair, give them each a win and a loss.
Arguably, Marquez has never lost and I see no solid evidence of how Mayweather will simply "toy" with him.
More that 50% thought that JMM beat Pac the second time. It was more like 90% of press row scored it for JMM.
And they also said(except for the hates), the fight was closed and it could have gone either way and it is not a robbery.
He lost twice to Pacquiao and the John fight wasnt a roberry!!!!!!!!!
Come on man!.
Have you seen the Chris John fight??..A) it was in indonesia..and B)all the judges had it like 117-111 if I recall!..DuDe was ROBBED BLIND!!..
Marquez I believe beat Pacquiao in the 2nd fight..KD and all!..Pacquiao was even surprised..and I haven't seen the Norwood fight..so I can't comment..
The first Pacquiao fight was CLOSE!..also even with the KD's...so yes..he officially did lose to them...but watch the fights and judge for yourself!!..
you haven't watched the john fight. chances are you heard that from Kellerman.
Pacquiao is the closest guy to beating Marquez, and 50% of people think he lost.
I watched the fight 3 years ago but didn't score it though. The Ring mag scored it for Chris John. The Ring mag had a representative over there. Also Boxrec said the fight seems closer than what the actual scorecards said. But they didn't say that they had JMM winning, just saying the fight was closed.
On the Norwood fight, Boxrec said that the decison was controversial to "some". That "some", who are they referring too, maybe JMM's team or fans.
Even his fight with Barrera, some media and fans had MAB winning.
I have much respect for JMM but his not rob of any win against John, Pac, or Norwood.

JMM is a great fighter that lost a few close decision against other great or really good fighters, there's no shame in that. Way to many younger boxing fans are way to obsessed with having an unblemished record, every fighter that fights often and against the best will eventually lose and probably several times because of an off night or a bad style matchup, that doesn't make a great fighter a "bum" or "exposed" IMHO, that's just boxing. That is (losing) just boxing and the reason why there's only a handful of really good or great undefeated fighters. How a fighter comes back from a defeat is what separates really good fighters from the greats.
I think most people think that Floyd will dominate or win comfortably is because he's bigger and since both are great counter punchers (where JMM has no clear edge) you have to favor the naturally bigger fighter. Unless Floyd got really rusty I don't see how he pulls off the upset. I think JMM can win 4-5 rounds, tops, I hope I'm wrong though because I'm not a PBF fan.

I have not seen the John fight but i believe he should of got the decision over Norwood.
norwood fight was ugly as shit, the knockdown was partly because their feet were crossed, and marquez got jobbed.......
i chuckle everytime i see the twefth round of marquez john and the referee breaks em for no reason when john took a shot and was in a bad position.... :lol1:, point deductions were kinda bogus...maybe one was deserved because they were hard shots, but very unintentional and lack of warnings.....and marquez shoulda won anyway...people really give john too much credit just because he never got overwhelmed really, but thats what marquez usually does with counterpucnhers, trade with them at midrange while landing better shots.....
whoever gave pacquiao more than 4 rounds in the first fight is crazy.......second fight was close(though i had jmm winning that shit too, but at least that one was actually hard to score....the rounds of teh first one are clear cut...)
'
dont know what happened wit the DQ....
Where can I DL that fight? I would love to see JMM get owned by a nobody.
He doesn't get owned, he get's robbed.
And CJ isn't a nobody, he's something like 44-0.
Marquez only lost because they took 2 pts away from him. Fraud.
I take it nobody here seen Marquez-Wheeler.
Don't say he NEVER has if you HAVEN'T SEEN ALL his fights.
You wouldn't happen to have a copy of that fight would ya?
