So I had been having a pretty crummy day, not feeling too psyched about anything and I just happened to stumble upon the Margarito v. Mosley fight. I watch the last two rounds and am immediately cheered up (not to bash Margarito fans or anything, but, you know...).
After thinking about it I realize that there are a bunch of fights that put me in a good mood and I can't be alone. What are some boxing moments that always cheer you up?
that 1 minute clip of the tyson interview puts a smile on my face every time. "I am the most ruthless, brutal champion ever. I am Sonny Liston and Jack Dempsey. There is no one who can match me" etc.
I'm sure you've all seen it so I'll not bother link it.
watching the first Ward vs. Gatti fight.
it was the first live fight i saw, i still remmber it, i saw it with my dad.
im from Lowell, so we were excited as hell when micky knock down arturo, and when he won we were screaming "hell yea."
i love that fight.
Khan vs Prescott.
I make it a habit sometimes to show that fight to some friends of mine (being it's about 37 sec long) who are more casual Boxing fans. It gets the same response with every viewing...pure hilarity.
