Shane Mosley the most punch drunk fighter ive seen in a while

That's sad to hear. I'm surprised Oscar is still functioning normally after taking all those beatings. Manny should definitely retire within two fights if he wants to become an ATG with his senses in tact. Other guys to watch out for: Katsidis and Juan Diaz. They're both still young guys, and if their recent fights are any indication, they're bound to develop pugilistic dementia. I'm surprised Gatti functioned as long as he did. He didn't even sound bad here...but damn...I don't want to hear him years down the line. One of my favorite fighters.

disagree a bit the last full interview I did with him was after Marquez Diaz and he sounded clearer, then Jake did an interview with him and from what he said he sounded fine in all honestly I think he had been drinking a bit prior (I would say around 4ish after the weigh in) because afterward (Sat) he sounded great Interesting, thanks for the info. :fing02:

He also sounded fine when he was on ESPN calling out Pacquiao, he's always talked that way. I have interviewed him and talked to him about once a month since December and he is fine it's funny but I did an interview right after the guy did his at Hatton Pacquiao (it's in bscene's vid archive) and the impression I got was that he had been drinking a bit not that he was punch drunk. He was a little flush in the face and seemed to be a little more uh happy go lucky but this has been the only time I have noticed any speech issues. So what's with the nasal sound? I heard before he had a nasal problem when he fought Cotto or right before it, but how true is that? Didn't hear it from a reliable source, juist a poster mentioned it before, but it kind of made sense the way he was talking? But he hasn't seem to rid himself of it. So, sinus problems now... Deviated septum...maybe? Or leaning towards something else? Just compare the video I put up with him talking before Floyd vs. Oscar and compare with the other...

Every fighter is a little punch drunk but some more then others if you pull inteviews from early inhis carrer his speech isn't much better. Some people just dont speak well in public. I know for a fact because when i was younger I tened to speed up my words when speaking in front of people due to nerves and I sounded like I was sluring. Often my moms would accuse me of drinking as a teen due to it. Some times she was right but most times I was just nervous to speak in front of a crowd....Lefty what up lefty? honestly, i dont think he's nervous at all. he was never the most eloquent dude on the block but his speech has deteriorated over time. he looks confused when he's speaking, like he's trying to gather up words and shit in his mind. his voice also has that signature muffled sound that punch drunk fighters have.
