The question is: "Who do you think did a better job of proving their point?"
- Mayweather's point seems to be that he is the #1 fighter on the planet.
- Brian Kenny's point is that PBF is fighting someone too small for him and he is not currently the #1 fighter after having retired.
It just aired. Here is the link for all who haven't seen it:

FLOYD HAS THE CLAP!!!!!!!!!!!
LMFAO >>>>>>>>>> Floyd has the CLAP!!!!! That is funny shit!!!!!
Who cares? Brian Kenny, just like Larry Merchant, has never liked Floyd Mayweather. He didn't say a word about Oscar being too big for Pacquaio before the fight. Nor did either criticize Oscar for fighting Steve "two pounds" Forbes at 147. Larry Merchant used to have an orgasm every time he watched Oscar fight but wouldn't give Floyd credit for knocking out both Klitchko brothers in the same night. Brian Kenny is the same way. If Floyd knocked out Marquez and Pacquaio, he would say they were too small. If he then ko'd Mosley and Cotto, he would say they were past their prime. I am surprised that Floyd even wasted his time talking to Brian Kenny.
LOL what i find funny .. Floyd nuthuggers are saying this about Pac fights... Pac beat a past his prime oscar and Hatton...
Never giving Pac his props...
hypocrisy at its finest...
Kenny introduced him as the former #1 p4p, which he is, and Floyd came unglued. Not really sure you can put all the blame on Brian, he showed much more patience than I would've in that interview.
No, but my point from earlier in this thread was that no other premier athlete- be it football's Tom Brady or basketball's Lebron James- would have been smugly prodded like Kenny did. Yes, Floyd got very pissed, very quickly and it might not have been called for. If it were any other athlete other than a boxer, though, ESPN would have the good sense to, in respect to the person being interviewed, reign in their reporter. Instead, we just saw one of the sport's best made to look like an asshole because Brian Kenny was allowed to goad him on. ESPN would never do that to Terrell Owens no matter how much he ran his mouth and didn't back it up- not in a face to face interview.
I didn't like how Kenny came at Floyd, as I said in my other post, but I don't think he was the one who was unaware of Manny's losses. That was the blond haired douche from the day before.

Kenny fvcked himself by proving he knows jack about boxing.

I find that interview highly disrespectful and if was floyd i wouldnt conduct anymore interviews with espn.
They always attck PBF, i remember when they accused him of ducking Baldimor.
They attack PBF more viscously then they attack the guys who use steroids and cheat in baseball. Ive never seen Brain have thaty much nuts when he talks to Clemens. Even though those guys cheat at sports they get showed more respect than PBF.
The media hates PBF just as much as most people on these forums do.
body of a man but acts like a child
and beats up grown men.... with grown bodies.. and grown money... and has grown men watching him fight after paying 49.95 for 45 mins...
Yea...:thumbsdow
"why did you come back Floyd"
"Because I wanted to steal some more money"
classic Floyd.
And when did Floyd ever make 200 million in 18 months? And if he did, why does he still owe the IRS like 7 million?
Floyd had solid responses for every question Kenny asked. BScene hates Floyd and 2 years from now all these dumb tthreads about Floyd will be bumped by Horus just like those extremely idiotic threads about "DLH will KTFO of Mayweather"
"Floyd is ducking Vivian Harris"
"Floyd is afraid of Hatton"
"Baldomir is a true WW test"
"Baldomir is too big for Floyd"
"Floyd won't KO Gatti"
"Floyd is overlooking Gatti, he's getting KTFO"
Dumb thread after dumb thread(not this one) but all these other threads will look real dumb at the end of the day.
Plz tell me those threads were fake????
am i the only one who found how bad he pronounced paulie malinaggi hilarious. I Musta stopped n rewinded at least 4 times. Floyd Line about master at nothin was hilarious also. Kenny did a good job of getting floyd annoyed tho. Goood Interview!!!
I can't vote in your poll. Reason being, I feel as if Floyd had many valid points, and I overall side with him over a smug Brian Kenny- but I also agree he's #3 pound for pound right now. I won't ignore the accomplishments of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
I find it funny that Brian Kenny was allowed to be so combatitive with Floyd. I mean, some people say he was just making Floyd answer the 'tough' questions, almost like being an investigative reporter; it wasn't meant to be that type of interview, though. It was just a pre-fight hype circuit talk to increase the interest in Marquez-Mayweather.
If Tom Brady has a monster season this year, is considered the best quarterback on the planet, and then for whatever reason switches teams- it's likely he'd go to the top bidder. Nobody would, in an interview, aggresivley ask Brady why he didn't go to the worst team in the NFL that would be the best challenge instead of chasing the biggest contract. Other athletes- from Lebron James to Peyton Manning- are given respect when they attain a certain level.
Yes, I understand Floyd has an attitude that encouraged people to debate his achievements; especially with his constant aserations of his status, but our arguably most famous boxer, an undefeated athlete at the pinnacle of his sport, was just spoken to and interviewed in a way no other sport's poster boy would be. I thought Brian Kenny was smug and, once he got the ignorant Floyd riled up, instead of backing off found it amusing and did a little verbal dance with him; that's not what'd you'd see if it were any of the more mainstream sport's top dogs.
Who is pound for pound best currently? Not Floyd- not after his retirement. Who won the little argument? Well, to me, it's a shame that our sport is being tarnished not just because Floyd Mayweather has a temper and a bit of immaturity, but because ESPN - the largest sports network- feels its alright to give a reporter free reign in the way he approaches an interview.
I'm not asking us to hold Floyd's hand - but nobody is a smug prick at ESPN to Terrel Owens if he doesn't make good on his touchdown promises- not in a face to face interview. They don't tell Lebron he needs to step up his game in the playoffs if he wants to be considered amazing. The other athletes get more respect.
I'm sure nobody will agree...but I feel as if Brian Kenny was also a bit out of line. When I saw the full interview on ESPN- the 13 minute one- it's very hard for me to defend some of how Floyd reacted and said, I'm not going to try, but I also think if boxing were more popular than it currently is, Kenny would have to watch his tongue a bit.
"Has anybody beat me?"
"No Floyd. Nobody has beat you..yet."
Very classy Brian Kenny.

FLOYD HAS THE CLAP!!!!!!!!!!!
at the end of the day they are all chasing mayweather like dogs. And he's the main attraction.
Last I heard....Pac was the main attraction and everyone wants a piece of Pac. Is that not why Floyd came back?
And I seriously doubt that his "hit list" exists....its probably more like a "if you pay me enough i'll fight the guys on this list"....:boxing:
